Great idea for a thread.
I'm better at decision making in general now, much more logical.
It's also taught me to deal with bad luck, and enjoy/not feel guilty about good luck.

Poker has taught me that it's not nice to be all-in, because if you lose you might be poor and pathetic till the end of the month. 
It has taught me a lot: always be competitive, don't take things for granted, think outside the box, try not to get irritated by stupid people. I could continue writing till i drop...

Poker taught me how to plan better, not only at the tables but at work. my time management is a lot better. just dont want to go to work though
Poker has taught me that life isn't fair. Bad things happen to everyone, and good things happen to everyone. You can't control the cards you are dealt, but it's what you do with them that you can control. A sure thing, is never a sure thing, and your sure thing goes to hell, it happens to everyone. Life isn't rigged, it's just variance. Like Pokerstars!

Breakeven swing from April to August, almost got sick of it and quit. However, within 2 months I increased my BR by 130% ♦
Well it can also go the other way around...
At first I looked at poker as a game, just click check/raise/fold, but if you get into the game and implement some good habits, whilst trying to avoid bad habits, you can improve your poker game a lot....
But there is still time to give poker a chance to implement in my life some good green things 
Poker has taught me various things: one thing I learned recently is that people are not open minded about an issue and will just disregard your (more experienced!) opinion on the matter. For example, I was in my work, after I finished, playing some 1on1 hypers on the pokerstars app. My friend was like "you have a problem", I said "why? I only play poker for money(meaning the aim is profit)".
Then he was like "It's just gambling". My response was "Comparing poker to gambling is like comparing sex to rape" haha, first thing that popped into my head! ♦
When i began to understand poker (EV, odds and stuff), i quit playing slot machines. 
poker taught me that tough times don't last, tough guys do. I learned it the hard way though, but I guess that how you learn every valuable lesson in life 
It has taught me that I hate losing and that I deal VERY hard with inevitable losing streaks.
