thanks for the encouragement!

I have not been grinding a lot for the past 2-3 days. Instead I have been spending a significant amount of time on my application and my blog. Almost feels like university admissions application for US colleges all over again.

I'm almost done with my application, just need some edits and tweaking here and there. I also wrote another short article on multi-tabling. As usual, you can find the latest post at galvinbay.net

thanks

I miss your ZOOM videos for pokerstrategy Galvin X(

Otherwise you're the man, I'm definitely following and rooting for you making it to SNE!

There's only one way to get on Team Online, and that's to twerk yourself onto the roster. :f_cool:

I think you should make another tab next to videos on your webpage labeled something like 'comics' and stick a heap of your mspaint comics up there.

They are awesome and no one else is doing anything like that. Just give each one a title and then update it somewhat regularly (you already have the content) and you're good to go.

Good Luck. :f_biggrin:

Do not twerk... No

Also you should have a link to your blog/s here. You already have the content! Use it. Take some of the more interesting stuff you've posted here and put it on your webpage.

I went on a super heater at NL1k so I'm up a decent amount for the month now. I'll post a graph later when I'm done for the month.

Strategy points
I have 1.08 mil now, still haven't used any of it :(
How do you diamonds pick which party to go to next year? maybe I'll drop by one of the events in 2014 when I have more free time. Or maybe PS should give me a cash reward instead, or have one party in macau or something.

ty sir!

So as mentioned many times before, I average 900 VPP/h with only 500/200 and 1200 VPP/h with 500/1k tables. I wonder if it's possible to exceed this limit by playing something else?

Like SnG Turbos (though I am not too experienced at this and may end up losing money). I probably can't be good enough to beat midstakes SnGs anyway. I can't really increase my table limit (I'm at my physical limit anyway)

6max Hypers are the best for VPPs I think, but insane variance and massively reg infested at midstakes+. I'd stick to crushing Zoom if I were you

I need some motivation badly, I'm only at 670 000 VPPs and it's already day 3 of november (I'm supposed to have cleared 700k long ago).

Can you add reg tables besides 8 zoom tables, given that your head doesn't explode? If not, you're gonna have to play long hours indeed.

GL with that

well i can't handle that, i time out too often. And I'm not allowed to anyway, 24 tables (or 8 zoom which is the equivalent) is the max for me and pokerstars has not increased my limit (for good reason)

I'm not in the best physical condition these days. Will try to do more physical activities to keep in shape.

what motivates you to play more other than poker itself? i think having someone to work for is more motivating than working for yourself. for example earning money to provide for parents? provide for the poor? provide for a loved one? i saw consistent scientific studies that having such a purpose motivates more than just buying a nice car and house for ourselves.

you seem to be sleeping about 2-3 times a day, with a long sleep like 5-7 hours, and then a additional 1-2 hours sometime later in the day. there is this superman sleep schedule u can check out here >>> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyphasic_sleep

what it says is that you can operate on less sleep if you are trying to put in more hours, and each time u wake u should be more productive than a long session.

im wondering how do u keep your redline so steady? im dropping at like -7bb/100 right now and you seem to be getting -3bb/100 at the higher stakes...

maybe you are 3betting a tonne pre flop? or putting in alot of aggression to take down NSD pots on flops and turns?

and of course we can always go for some exercise, im just a 20-30mins cab ride away...

Day 2 went really well. Gonna grind the same amount tomorrow. I'm finally able to focus more at night and while the grind gets a little boring, I just play some youtube videos in the background to keep me occupied and entertained. The good thing is that content for those videos are generally lighter (as opposed to watching TV/movies whereby following the narrative takes away a lot more concentration and focus)
