Super cool day !
I played 15s + some 30s and and 60s while Gerovit was sweating me. Running under EV in those but it was great to see ability there and players. Super excited to play them on my own or selling action or even mix them with 15s soon. 60s were with 2 fish per table , surprisingly soft. From 3 games, won 1 in HU vs famous HellRaiser - super proud of that (managed to level him to make a bit wider call in HU vs me)
All in all super day, got more energy to grind more in the following days and look forward to more sessions as well as my future on Stars.
Morning,
Tried to have a look at your staking thread via your link and it says my status is not high enough, any ideas what it needs to be. Strange as I think I am the same Bronze as you.
GL at the tables.

Morning Steve,
They changed the link location so now its a bad link
You can check out more about staking thread HERE
Will write about it in one large blog post, things are going fairly good in that area also
Update!
Within past week slacked tons when it comes to volume but I did do coaching every day, watch a lot of movies and get good sleep. I basically turned my day upside down, now I fall asleep around 4-5am ,wake up around 10 then sleep more until 12 and then get my day going. Not good, look forward changing it to old way.
This of course influences my volume greatly. I just got used to playing earlier session with 2-3 regs and now I am back with 4 regs per table = more variance.
Running bad past couple of days but my mental game is much stronger then before and I feel I am owning them (not to sound stubborn or anything but edge is there definitely). What pisses me off most is when I feel tilt is getting to me and I start making some bad HU calls (whether its bad r/calls or calling extra light etc). All in all mental game and skill are coming together nicely, much happier then I was a month or two ago.
Today I played only 103 games, here is the graph with some info
Uploaded with ImageShack.com
Total games 103
EV ROI 8.9%
ROI 0.3%
ITM 34%
1st 20.4, 2nd 13.6, bubble 21.4, 4th 20.4, 5th 16.5 , 6th 7.8%
My HU assignments and extra work are paying off, very happy about that. Will have another session with Gerovit in following days (next 2-3 days) by then I have assignments to finish and as I said my main problem is changing the sleep pattern for this whole week - hope I get back into normal routine asap.
Volume is behind the pace obviously. Got almost 4k VPPs, target for this month is 25k, 21k more in next 21 days. It is possible but no more sleeping ins or going back home for extra naps (like I did in the past week).
Have all a great weekend and see you at the tables
Playing now, just made crazy missclick in bubble vs demonic on river 3x overbet shove
whole bubble dominating, demonic shoping 55vsAKo bvb and then this - sucks
will play until 2-3 am get 100+ games today

Hm you don't say ♦
But yeah just take a night off if you are tilting, I can see the dilemma because games were soft but if you are not playing focused it's no good.

Yeah to be honest that misclick tilted me tons along with bunch of setups I encountered with you + super light calls from Elio and some other regs. It put me on tilt, started to spew and be overly aggressive. Was lucky to play 80+ games and have minus only 2 buy ins.
Surprisingly was crushing HU but regardless of it I had tons of bubbles and 4th place finishes which sucked - bad card distrubution also (typical run ins and setups).
Will try to go to office tomorrow early (after a week of going in the late afternoon) , start my day off early and play from 10:30-11am. If things go as I plan them now, I will play tomorrow easily 170+ games (aiming for 200 to make up for the lost volume).
Have you read jared tandlers ebook or audio book?
With the volume you put in i think it could be quite helpful to you.
Tilting with the amount of volume you put in is not good

Sadly not yet , only first couple chapters
I keep postponing it but I will eventually have to do it no doubt!
By the way, if you have audio book, ship it please
unfortunately i dont have an audio book
Some time back i was playing backed for MTTs, and i was in a pretty bad downswing
I spoke to my backer about taking a break and was about to spot midsession, he asked me 1 question " Are you playing good according to youself?" i said yes he told me then ignore everything and just play
Same day i ended up shipping a 22$ MTT for 2.8Kish
That was when he told me to read this ebook
Thats the best tip i got from my coach/backer at that time
If you are planning to grind like this it is something you should not avoid

Excellent advice from your previous baker
I have this mental game problem for a while now. When I am close to my A game , my roi on 15s is 10% +. The problem is I have about 7 tilt triggers that I am aware of and if they take over I turn into overly aggressive spewer which results into like F- game you know.
I am hoping that from January once I start earning money on my own finally, stress factor will go more and more away, I will be more calmed and relaxed which should lead me to produce my best results on stars.
Biggest problem is volume goal obviously. Now I reached SN but I have 50k more to hit by the end of the year and that ain't joke volume lets be real
The biggest mistake I made with Gerovit is switching to stars and over rating my mental game and autopilot which is far from excellent game. This is why results are not there, money is missing, expectations were much larger and I am more disappointed. All the pressure has gotten to me obviously, super excited and waiting for 1st of January (about 50 days more!) and finally start taking it easier with grind and enjoy 100% of the winnings with far less stress then now.
If you do find that audio book somewhere ship it please, I have ebook but I prefer listening to things or watching videos!
I got the audiobook from Audible.com. It was free with a month trial which I then cancelled with no problems.

Thanks a lot Tim. Downloading it now as we speak, look forward listening to it all!

On the side note, listening to mental game of poker while grinding. Jarred knows his stuff, I already recognized tons of useful things I did and need to do.
For example whenever I did warm ups and cool downs I felt I had more control of my game. Also identifying my tilt factors (which I did) and writing them down (which I did) helps fight them in long run. Now I have to work on injecting logic, returning my warm ups and cool downs, being able to WALK AWAY when I can't control tilt anymore, work on it with some breathing and injecting logic all the time. All in all , very much look forward working with this material.
P.S. Nice to hear Barry (HollyMichele) in this audio book and his experience

I think it's Barry Carter in the audiobook, rather than HollyMichele from this forum.
