This one, and it's not even close. By far the greatest day of my entire life, May 24th, 1995.

That reminded me of this

Carlisle United were seconds away from relegation from the professional league, in the final second the goalkeeper scored to keep them up.

Definitely I see poker players still have some emotions in them/us. I am really glad to read and watch some of those great stories. Jimmy Glass for example is guy who is probably unknown for majority of football fans but thanks to Barry i will remember him i like forever. Where i Carlisle United today?

Then some great basketball moments and Ajax dream team. Basketball can really make some really dramatic moments.

Then Bobby Robson and Solskjaer...what a moments. Thank you guys for sharing this.

As a portuguese football and cycling fan, last sunday, was one of the greatest sports moments of my life, as a Portuguese cyclist won the world championship. I was alone at home, and screaming like a maniac in the last kilometers, and in the end started to run around!

It was awesome, one of the best moments of my sports life, along with all the titles that my football club has won along this last years.

I went to a casino in Portugal and saw the football Rui Costa put a shit load of chips on 29, it came in, he didnt flinch, he put all his winnings on 29 again, it came in again, and he didnt even smile. The entire casino was cheering, I reckon he won €300k at least, and he looked like he didnt give a shit.

My friend was at the same table, he lose €35 on the night, and was devastated. Bizarre casino, how they let a high roller footballer play the same table as my mate and his €5 bets.

Most emotional sport moments to me and of course everyone in Finland must be these. Notice the fanatic commentators in both videos. ;)

First some best parts of the 2011 ice hockey world championship tournament where Finland won the second world championship.

Then 1998 when Mika Häkkinen won his first Formula 1 world championship in the last race of the season.

1990 World Cup, when Italy lost against Argentina. I have no idea anymore, why I chose to support Italy when I was a kid, but I was crushed when they got defeated. I rewatched that penalty shootout and don't even remember seeing it before. I thought Baggio missed, but that was another year.

I was happy for Rui Costa too.

Yeah Hnngh. Roberto Donadoni and Aldo Serena missed their shots. I cannot imagine how emotional Italians felt that day.
