Not being satisfied is the driving force behind progress. Good luck at NL25 Alan.

Ohh here you are :f_biggrin:....thank you very much. Well i am still on my way to NL25. I will give it a try when i reach BR of 1k $. Now i have almost 900. I had more than 950 already but dropped down after few very bad sessions when i totally overplayed few of my hands.

It is so annoying when we play so good for entire session and then we do 2 mistakes out of 1000 hands and those 2 mistakes cost us more than we earned from other well played 998 hands. I try so hard to get rid of those spews. I hope i will succeed.

Thanks again bigdwong.

First of all i would like to thank PokerStrategy for giving me a chance to be part of their great team. Few days ago i became part of great Moderators team and i really enjoy this position. Thank you again.

Regarding my poker things are going pretty bad. I will definitely have to review what happened since something is obviously wrong. I was really close to reach BR of 1K where i would give a shot at NL25 but now i am again back to less than 800$. But of course this is not the first time that such a thing happen to me. I went through it in the past and i will go thorough it in the future to. As i always say...this is why poker is so great game.

Here is mine great graph since last update. Dead gummit this is hard :f_biggrin:

Poker was not very gentle with me lately. I started with NL25 and i don't think that there is high level of poker. But i was pretty unlucky i guess.

Here is one of the hands where huge fishes got my stack and made me tilt a bit :f_cool:.

Here is another one:

Hero mucked K K and lost (-$12.75 net)

So no good results really at NL25 but i still have enough bankroll to play it. I won't just give up that easily. I am surprised how many fishes are there but just could not get money out of them.Fishes are feeding themselves with fisherman at the moment :f_biggrin:.

Here is that ugly thing i am talking about.

A bit offtopic: I found very nice tool to uploade images to imageshack. It is so much faster than uploading files from their website. If anybody is interested you can find it here. It is called imageshack-uploader.

Tomorrow it is a big day for me regarding football. Two great matches are tomorrow. We do play the 4th round in the lowest Slovenian division :f_cool:. We won all 3 matches so far and so the team we play against tomorrow. So it will be really great match. Tomorrow is also one of the greatest matches of the season . Roma Lazio. Roma is still unbeaten in Serie A so what a day tomorrow. Unfortunately i will have match at the same time as Roma so i won't have possibility to watch them. :f_cry:. Still big expectations for tomorrow.

Till the next time....have fun guys and good luck.

Just to much time left since my last update. A bit more than month. This is just unacceptable. bad guy :f_cry:. But still better now than never or even later.

One of the reasons why i haven't made an update before is that i simple haven't play a lot lately. When i decided to become moderator here i knew it will affect my volume. When i have some free time i spend it for modding rather than playing. As first part of football season is still not over (we have the last match on 9.11) there is really almost no time for playing. I hope i will have more time later. Because my volume is so affected i also decided to start playing NL25 ZOOM.

I have to say that i really like NL25ZOOM. The competition is not so strong. There are really a lot of fishes around so i think i can be BE in long term :f_cool:. To be honest i changed my mind about poker a bit. I think i will never be very successful poker player but i like the game very much. So i will try to do my best and i hope i can swim around low stakes and that will be enough for me. This thinking allows me not to be result oriented. If i play badly one day i just say to myself that it really doesn't matter if i loose 3 buy ins. What is that in comparison with months and years in front of me?. So i like the game and i will study it because i like it and this is the only reason why. I want to move up the limits because game is even more interesting there. I will never be a pro but i will enjoy the game without loosing my money (i have never invested anything except time). And that is it.

So during last month i played only 1.5k SH normal tables and a bit less than 8k ZOOM hands.

Here is NL25 normal tables graph:

And NL25SHZOOM graph:

There is another thing worth to mention. I tried Tilt breaker. It is really interesting tool i have to say. It helps you stay focused. When i play some times i am not even aware about all distraction that appear on my screen. So the tool helps you to stay focused because it doesn't allow you to open any other program than poker client. But still the best part is that you can choose what is your stop loss value. So i decided that i will end my sessions for the day when i am 3BI down. So ones we are 3BI down program just doesn't allow us to play anymore and i think we can save many BIs if we stop playing before it is to late :f_cool:.

So that is it. I hope i will manage to update my blog more regularly otherwise it doesn't make sense to even have the blog. So see you soon and i hope you all have much fun.

Looks like we're onto some similar things and changes Good luck man ! :)

And that Tilt-Breaker thing, with the ability of stop-loss sounds kinda useful - but is it expensive though ? :)

Thanks you for stopping by .

It costs 29$. So this is just a little more than 1 BI. My trial version will expire soon and i am still a bit unsure if i will buy it or not. But probably i will. It can help us not to spew when we are running bad and i don't know if there is any tool around with such immediate return of investment .

No problem, will be interesting to see how you're doing, since we're onto pretty similar stuff :)

Well yeah, I guess 30$ is not THAT much :) But actually the "trial" is a good idea, somehow forgot about that :) Gonna try it for myself then and decide later if it's still worth buying :)

Hey, Alan !

Downloaded that Tilt-Breaker thing, configured, gonna try and see now how it works, but as I checked in their web page, it is written that the price is 49$, not your mentioned 29$ ... Did you make a mistake, or is there any kind of "secret" discount to use that YOU know of ? :) Or am I looking somewhere wrong ?

Gonna hijack your thread Alan :f_biggrin:

@ wIcKeD: Tilt Breaker comes in two versions: Professional and Small Stakes. The small stakes version works for up to NL25 and costs $29. The professional version works for all stakes, and costs $49. They have the same features, as far as I know, the small stakes version is just a more affordable version for micro stakes players :)

Its time for another update and i am going to show you another graph i actually don't want to show :f_cool:. OK i am a lucky fish. The luckiest fish on Earth :f_biggrin:. I tried to play my A game but i was able to play it just last 5k hands. I did some insta calls i shouldn't do and after a review i realized that i called some shoves where i was so so so behind. So few very very bad calls.

There is not a lot of things to add. I have to maintain that A game from last 5k hands and everything will be just fine.
