I enquired a while ago about changing my avatar on Stars and was told that I could only change it in special circumstances as I had changed it once already!!
I am quite happy with mine but had noticed a guy or two who had definately changed theirs a number of times. These are mostly "big" players.
Anyone know anything about this?

it is realy easy. just write an email to support@pokerstars.com that you wish to change your avatar, even you did it already, They will always be happy to help you ♦

from my experience just write a nice email to support and you can change it 3-4 times easy
more than that they might get annoyed, yeah I also read somewhere that big rake players can change theirs as many times as they like, not sure its true
I'm just looking for things to moan about I think. My games going to shit.

Messge I got from PokerStars about my inquiry to change my image.
Hello Maythany,
Thank you for contacting PokerStars.
We have updated your account privileges so you may select a new image. To change it, start the PokerStars software, and from the Lobby screen, select:
'Account' → 'Select/Change Image...'
If the option does not work immediately, restart the PokerStars software and it will reset.
