about luminosity- a good friend of mine was giving it some serious shot and told that after 3-4 weeks u actually can feel a progress. not only ability to beat those excercises better but he felt the brain power increasement in general. so as far as u invest time in those trainings it should be a legit way to train your brain :)

Just tried NL100 today to setup stuffs/HUD/prepare. The avg population is bad, most of them flat too little and 3bs too much but will see how it goes from NL200. I don't plan to put alot of volume but sometimes the wait list at 30s is getting out of control
And if the HU cash doesn't work I'll just go back and start sitting (weaker) regs.

Thanks for the feedback. For now I'm going to put more work on my game since its a nice way to build 'momentum'. After that I really think I'm going to purchase Luminosity.

If u're gonna get lumosity u should share it with other people. U can 'invite' family/friends up to 5, so u only pay 1/5th of the price.

I had it for a while, could test it for free through a friend the same way.

Certain games are quite fun (penguin game (L)) and other are boring as fuck. The games did help a bit, but i don't know if it was anything special, or just plain simply getting better in the game.

That's not a bad idea, I could start up a topic and ask 5 people here who is willing to buy. It cost 8.75 euro/month for 5 people. So 1.75 euro per month per person, not bad IMO.

Yea I personally wouldn't pay the full price, a bit more and you have a World of warcraft account, which has alot more content. :f_confused:

no one will play you

Early/mid November update
Nothing to add besides I'm happy with my game. Most big (mental) leaks are fixed. Its getting time to focus on the small leaks and motivation. Motivation being the hardest of all, so fucking boring everyday. Everyday same idiots, same boring morons that are always running good.

Hope to hit 2.5k games this month tbh, it won't be easy. Month so far :f_frown:

why donking flop? what if he raises flop?

^ Against fish/randoms I prefer to expand my OOP "weapons" with donking and maybe get value from draws as well.

Anyway SICK hand of the day, I tanked full time bank on the river. Will post result after some discussion.

Villain has been marked as "aggro fish/bad reg" few months ago, no further reads.

I would call as villain doesn't rep anything...Ax would pbb cbet flop and so does 9x.

Bet bigger on turn (60 to 80), villain's range is mostly Ax, Kx and 6x (bluffcatchers except for strong 6x) and you often only get one street of value from these. As played on river without further reads I think i'm check calling half pot and under and check folding otherwise. And finally by betting river as played i'm folding to raise as villain just doesn't have that many possible bluffing combos, randoms never bluff in this spot (would need further reads than months old note on being aggro) and their range contains a lot of Ax.

but if you give villain Ax, Kx, 6x range, with Ax being biggest part of it, even with villain bluffing 100% of his Kx (suddenly its air and not bluffcatcher we assume) its still pretty close. I would go ahead and nit it up to fold otr even to half pot.

Think it's close. Can def see reason for call same way as for fold. So just roughly go by GTO calling range id guess.

Yeah it was close. There was also a fairly big discussion on 2+2 about this hand. There are alot of better options. The biggest error was the sizing IMO, turn should have been bigger and river smaller. Villain showed 53o btw at that hand.

Anyway I'm only sitting at 1.6k games orso for the month, I haven't played any poker for the past week since I was busy finishing my thesis. It's almost completed after a fairly positive feedback from school. I don't think I can hit 2.5k games this month, will be something like 2k. Also lack of motivation to play lately, but I've come up with a schedule to force myself grind more after the thesis is done.
