On a related note, if sb is defending less, does that mean we need to defend more aggressively from the bb? What about if bb is a station and we're in sb?
if SB defends less, than you should expect BU to open more. Then in the BB you should start to adjust appropriately if you think BU is making the right adjustment
I don't think you should be defending more if BU is using a static range, just because SB is defending less.

well i nv fold low pocket pairs for 100bbs as long as amount to call is 5% or less of entire stack (call20 rule)
So you flat low PP's even from SB against for example 50% BTN steal? Or would you sometimes fold or 3bet that hand

usually fold, sometimes flat vs min-raise, sometimes i 3bet that to shove over a 4bet

Top 1k regs: hmm I think Giggy/RedBaron/takechip are really annoying to play against, Gecko and Mysters_Y as well. I'm actually up the most against Giggy but down against the rest of them. Gottama is also giving me some problems, he makes the most ridiculous herocalls against me but they work really often so I guess he has a good feel of gameflow or he has some tells on me.
Top 500 regs: At this point in time I can't think of anyone, basically the best 500 regs also play 1k when it runs.

I would need some good advice. I`m playing in a challenge on unibet, I have 7days to go and if I complete it I might get something like 40BI`s at NL10... my problem however is that I think I went into monkey mode and I just can't see it. I have been a winning player at this limit for 2.5bb/100 in something over 300k hands... however now I`m playing blaze... HUD`less... and I lost money the last 11 days in row (two of them were be) currently my biggest "downswing" with bad play I ever had, I lost half of my roll 30stacks. What should I do?... if I quit now, I`ll get close to nothing for the challenge.

how to deal with lack of sample size on my oponents when playing zoom? i feel like im playing pretty blindly against most players as i just cant get decent amount of hands against them, so i mostly have to make "smart guess" about his tendencies and possible leaks than a statistically proven facts.

I read that you suggest to take coaching as a microstakes player. What microstakes coach with good fundamentals would come to your mind? (affordable?)

well i guess it's a little too late to reply to this, but you should never ever play without a HUD, especially if you are multi-tabling or playing fastfold poker. Why would you ever want to play with a handicap? It's like wrestling with one arm.

1. You should be specific and deliberate in your practice and analysis. So focus on 3bet pots as the PFR, then as the caller, then single raised pots in early position, look through a few common spots and flop textures and think about how you would play your entire range
2. hmm you need to find your own style and preference. watching videos is the easy way out and only works up to a certain level. When you are doing well at NL200+ videos start to get pretty useless unless the video producer is really good (very few producers are good enough)
After that it's mostly self-analysis and opponent analysis

1. Make population reads
2. Play more theoretically optimal
1 is more important than 2, because players at lower limits deviate much more from optimal play.

1. Easy Game by Andrew Seidman/balugawhale is my favourite book.
2. Galfond and Internet, especially their theory videos. Assuming you are a beginner, BalugaWhale is good too (his old videos are probably still relevant for micros). Leatherass is also pretty good.
3. Hmm most of my early coaches weren't too useful (one NL50 HU coach and one theory coach breathweapon who was some scammer). My first good coach was TwiceT but I paid him 150/h I think, before that I had another coach DrEldoradon at another poker training site and we had some free training deal. I guess your best bet is to try arranging for some sort of deal because any coach worth getting coaching from is not so likely to be affordable.
I'm sure there are some good microstakes coaches in PS. Most of them are video producers so you should just watch their videos and if you find them useful, the likelihood that their style of coaching is suitable for you is going to be much likelier.
Hey, I just want to ask about 3betting big blind vs button ~100bb deep, if you dont mind.
When button has like 50% RF, 60% fold to 3b and about 7% 4b range that is somewhat balanced.
I used to 3b like 19% which is TT+,AK, 44-66, A2-A5s for 3b/5bet. Every AJ, AQ, KQ for 3b/call and that all is 9.5% for value. Another 9.5% I 3bet bluff with hands that I wont call with (it depends on his sizing).
Do you think it makes sense?
What do you think about 3b/calling with AK since its rarely will be best hand without dynamics when he calls 5bet?

AK is the nuts in a late position battle in an aggressive game sicne people are always 4b/calling AQ and sometimes even worse stuff.
If you don't feel comfortable 5bet shoving AK then you shouldn't be shoving AXs or 44-66.
I think 3bettting 19% is a little too much, you shouuld probably 3bet more like 12-15%. It also depends on his raise size - the smaller it is, the more you should be calling.
