Im like the only Fixed Limit player from Denmark ever that I know of. and especially without a doubt the only FL player from denmark on ps.com. :( feeling very lonely.

lol.. the edge is about the same. regarding too slow. FL is much faster to play 6max at least. never bothered with FL.. Its a fact that its way harder to multi table FL than NL.. according to a massive pool of players ive talked to , both of which plays mid to high/nosebleed stakes who I believe knows what they are talking about.

hm you think so? Tbh i've never played a lot of FL so i can't tell, just thought most fishes would prefer NL duo to the action, but i might be wrong :f_biggrin: and is FL faster? When i played i discovered a huge drop in how many hands i played per hour, and i "blamed" this on the structure of FL since every hand take a lot longer due to the capped betting. And I can imagine its harder to multitable FL since you fold a lot less hands, which again refer to the less hands played per hour :f_p:

looking at the average FL and NL .. FL has like 10 - 20 more hands (looking over it quickly though) .. and its faster per hand simply due to the fact that you only has to press fold call or bet. in nl you most times has to vary the betsizing if you dont have a program to auto adjust that. making each players action per turn a few seconds slower on average. bear in mind I only have about 500k hands total played FL .. But thats also a decent sample and 2 years of playing FL experience almost if not already.

bear in mind i have no fact or proof of this. I can just imagine this by looking quickly on stars hands per hour etc and what i know. I personally multi table 8 tables of 5/10c to .5/1 stakes so I only have experience there. and it seems the average hands per hour dont even decrease as i look from 1/2 up to 5/T .. Its first at 10/20+ the hands decrease by 10 - 20 hands per hour.

where as I look at NL all the way down to .5/1 to 1/2 where it is equal to 10/20FL hands per hour.

I suggest you try out some micro stakes FL and 4+ tables. I can imagine your gonna be like "okay hes right in some way" Even to me after playing FL for 1 year 6 tables was all I could do before my game decreased too much. Now a days after months of practice im very comfortable with 8 tables. I have again rarely heard of any FL players at any stakes who plays 12+ tables. and in nl i hear its common to reach up to the 24 tabling nanonoko and wizardofahhs does. At least I hear more instances of mass tabling in NL than FL on average. When i look at the regs from .5/1 up to 5/T on FL those i know and have seen on the tables tables per player as i know of is 4 to 10 tables.. 10 being extreme and i only know of 1 who does that at 5/T+.

Interesting perspective :) as mentioned i dont have much experience in FL around 20k-ish so ofcause my sample size isnt the best. My hands per hour was like 20-30 hands less per hour at FL (cant check the exact amount since its on my old computers). I believe you are correct that every played NL hand take longer than a played FL hand in general due to betsizings. However a lot more hands are folded preflop or at an earlier street in NL, because you don't defend as wide in NL since you potentially can lose your whole stack at any given hand. While in FL you are capped every hand, so you can play eg PP more profitably since you can potcontrol. That at least applied for how i played, can't say it applies for every one else :f_p:

your FL experience is 6max or full ring ? .. As im talking 6max only in the above post. fullring is so slow no matter what format nl or fl its so slow i tend to yawn and almost fall asleep
