What is it?
Over the last few weeks Ive had to turn down a lot of private coaching sessions because Im simply too busy either playing, commitments to PokerStrategy.com or other related things. I want to make the ultimate guide to crush 6max cash games in 2014. I want to make something that I am proud of and think of it as if I was a NL50 player however many years ago and could access this it would accelerate my progression through the stakes.
I see a lot of these packs now, but IMO they are done by players who dont play anymore and dont understand common modern day tendancies. There are some things that almost every student struggles with and I will tackle those areas in this course. However I am not an ABC player I like to think outside the box and I think thats what gives me a very good win rate in todays game by being able to combine very good fundamentals with the ability to know how to think otuside the boy and when to do it.
This course will IMO be the most relevant, up to date, technical course on the market. I obviously would think this, but I genuinely think this is the most important and best value course that has ever been released for NL Holdem 6max. Because of that I will be offering a 100% refund is somebody does not find it value for money for whatever reasonn.
What does it contain?
The package will consist of 4 areas and have over 10 videos.
1) Tough common problems that people struggle with
- Playing from the SB I will make a video stating exactly how I think you should play from the sb. I will also give you a chart that will have preset ranges from the SB vs every position. As well as a relatively close to GTO attempt of a range I will talk about the adaptions to it due to population tendancies in the modern game. Additionally I will speak about a limping strategy that will be completely opposite of the one Sauce suggested a while ago and will be heavily dependent on modern day population tendancies
- Improving the red line and modern day GTO Possibly the biggest single thing that people struggle with. Depending on what you play it may not mean that your red line should be positive. In fact mine is actually break even. However this doesnt mean you shouldnt maximise your red line. I will talk about spots that I havent seen discussed in videos and pick 2-3 lines that will constantly help your red line. I will show example of hand histories and I will have live play videos that will show you too. I labelled this modern day GTO because I will speak heavily regarding my views on GTO, how we should use it and when we should deviate from it.
- Playing Deep I see that many people are scared of playing deep or simply sit out of tables when they double up because they dont feel competent playing with 200 big blinds. I will hopefully change you into somebody who wants to not run it twice and embrace the variance so that YOU CAN GET DEEP! We will speak about it during live play videos and also go into the theory behind it.
- Playing from the BB I often see people with very poor win rates from the big blind. This is usually down to the same stuff that they are doing wrong. I will address this and go into detail how I would proceed from the big blind. Again pre flop game plan will be supplied here.
2) Secrets of No Limit
I cant go into detail on this because if I say what it is it wont be a secret anymore. I havent spoke about this stuff in any video previously and I will show examples of when I do it, the results it has but also stress exactly when we shouldnt do things. Often people will say cool new concepts in poker and people will force them too much and not realise when they shouldnt do them. I would say these "secrets" significantly help my winrate.
3) Live videos I will make a live video at the below stakes and speak in detail about how I would deviate strategies at different stakes. I believe far too many videos in these "packs" have too much theory and not enough live play. I have made dozens of videos for PokerStrategy.com with live videos and they have generally always been popular.

Hey continuous learning for me is basically learning without relaising it, reading forums, threads videos, for entertainment value and curiosity as much as wanting to improve will jsut naturally make you think about spots better. Seeing regs do stuff will make you try it, jsut as the game evolves and people have more ideas you will generally continue to learn.
I learn something every day from poker. I have a huge hunger from the game and I think it fits my personality and intelligence perfectly.
I also learn every day for ex hand post or something.
However, I doubt my amount to get result like you(I'm strunggling at 50NL or even 20NL BSS)I have played poker for 1.5 year and this result is never good..
How much should I learn and what is difference do you think make you successful player?
About coaching, I'm very interested in your video. If I watch it , how should I process?(within 1week, 2week,1month?) Moreover, can I post questions about video to somewhere?

While I'm sure any information on beating 25nl will help in the long run at 5nl, it will cost a player 100 buy ins at that limit. That's an absurd amount of buy ins to be paying for information that only becomes most beneficial to you at 25nl+.
So I'm going to say no. I'm sure the information contained within the videos will be A+, since Patrick is a great coach, but I wouldn't be going for it as an 5nl player.
It depends some people play nl5 with a 2000 bankroll because they don't feel confident. Sending the money may mean you are now confident to play nl10 or nl25 and rise through the stakes.
If you are a nl5 player playing with less than 1000 I definitely wouldn't recommend it though.

With ur SB limping strat, what are ~ the defending frequencies of the bb that let you decide to do so. And do u use a 'attack SBlimp' stat aswell?
And to finish my question, what are ur general SB limp ranges, cuz it feels still rather unnatural for me.

fpboss, if its vs a guy who 3bets a lot then i would 4bet alot. usually he will take hands such as k7o to 3bet bluff us and thus wont 5bet jam, rather than btn vs cut off where he may take hands such as ats, 55 and 9ts that would be more appealing for him to jam. We also dont have to make it too big as we wont want to call a 4bet with a polarised 3betting range.

hi pleno1 I am an evaluator of hands from the spanish community until nl20 SH :), I like your blog it's very interesting so I'd like ask one advice about our 3 bet range vs regs in one situation, please.
for example i see many people 3 betting hands like small Ax, Kx, even small Qx sometimes. BU vs CO or SB/BB vs BU/CO. i think they do it because they usually think: I have a blocker this is good.
but i'm not sure about this because the regs usually going to call the 3 bet with betters Ax, Kx, Qx.
so when I have something like A3 and the flop is Axx i don't know if i really like my hand so what's the idea? only success preflop? I am a little confused about this.

do you mean when you 3bet and the flop comes Axx? Generally I would check back as its ambitious for worse to call and you can inudce.
But if the flop is A9Tfd, maybe you can bet for protectiona nd value from draws and check back turn.
sorry my idea was flops without draws p.e. A94 rainbow. well, i know this idea is very general, but i was speaking about vs regs with a 3 bet call range tight.
I agree with check and pot control is a good idea but if i do the same often my hand is very face up i guess, then they can do good value bets vs me or bluffs because i represent a weak hand so i don't feel comfortable in this point.

Pleno, how do you treat hands like AJo, KQo, KJo in the cut off versus a standard 22/16ish player who opens from utg-hj? Then in mean as a default without too many reads.
