to say it in german words: "ich bin hin und hergerissen am river"

i´m not really sure about my riverplay here. main draw bust but still i have a bluff catcher here. depends on villian i guess

vililan wtsd 34 wsd 45 fold cb flop 50 turn 26 river 64

saw that he ch behind showdownvalue. which in this case is raw so could be a busted draw. i foldet it because the 9 brings the str8 draw also.

if the 9 is an 2 would u also fold?

.

Hi,

after you get called on the static turn when you make 2 big bets, it's almost always a made hand. I think river c/f is the best play no matter the card.

Skod

P.S. Please nothing Deutch here :f_cool:

Hey,

I don't agree with the Flop cbet. You have no FE and you are OOP and no good Turncards. Don't see any reason to bet the Flop tbh.

Am I wrong in my assumptions?

why do u think we have no fe here? i think its too weak just to give up and c/f here

hey,

because every fd has at least a pair or a gutshot to go, which won't fold. Every Pair has at least a gs, etc. At least one of the 2 ppl has a hand which will always call 2 streets imo.

yeah sure but with our holding (esp the KK) we block some combinations of gutter.

so ure standard here is c/f?

yeah I guess multiway with 3 clean outs it feels like wasting money here for me if I bet. I would at least need a bdfd (or an nf blocker). I also don't see how the blockers work in favour of us here. It just increases the probability they have 2P when they call.

You guys are missing the point. We have the best hand on this flop very often. Draws not folding is a good thing for us, not bad, and monsterdraws with a lot of equity will raise allowing us to comforably fold. By betting we are also folding out nonnuty wraps for example quite often, which have very good equity vs us.

Skod

Hey,

my point is, that against somewhat aggressive / good players we will never get to showdown with our hand, altough we might be ahead on the flop a good amount of the time as you said. Somewhere in the hand there will be the point where we have to b/f or ch/f, depending on the cards. IP it's a whole different story and I totally agree, because we can realize our SDV way more often.

Guess thats my last point about this hand, if you still don't think it's legit I guess I have to change the way I see those hands.

Well vs agressive opponents you have a point. To lower variance you can c/f here and just be done with it. But when 2 massive fish call you, you have to bet.
