Okay guys, i'm done for the day. It's 9 or 10 hours total so far - so roughly mid way point. I'll be picking up again around 11-12 tomorrow (GMT +7) after i get back from the hospital. Was a long but fun day

Shevtshenko was clear and detailed in his explanations, even when I didn't get it the first time he found other words til he was sure I understood the point. He has a high skill level and can express his knowledge very well.
As another student mentioned above he recorded the session for himself - maybe that would be a nice add-on for your normal students (not for the :heart: students of course)... that u record the session and send it to the student afterwards together with a short summary of the main things/concepts u talked about.

Big thanks to everyone who participated in this small project! I must say i was surprised how tough it was to coach 10h per day two days in row. Just not used to working such hours nowadays... In total I spent 20h with 11 different players. Stakes these guys play regularly ranged from micro stakes MTTs to nl1k cash games. There were many interesting hands reviewed during these hours and although it was fun, i'm glad it's over now ♦
I'm sure I'll do this sometime in the future again but it'll likely be with less hours - 20h is a long time servicing others especially being injured and in constant pain. But it's always nice to hear the feedback and i'm confident i also became a better coach in this process.
Now it's time to get some well deserved sleep. Stay tuned!

Here's an update to Craig and others interested
I flew in to Chiang Mai on 7th of January. Crashed a bike on 14th of January. Which lead me to not walking for couple weeks and had to do daily visits to a hospital to get the wound cleaned up every day. Hence, both my volume and overall happiness weren't exactly on peak levels during January. Currently, I'm capable of walking although I still have a small hobble in my step. The knee is getting better everyday and there's only a slight inflation around the kneecap. I think that working on a cross trainer is going to heal it pretty well and that lets me get back to normal shape ASAP. But to the larger extent, I'm into normal life again and besides working out, I can do everything I want to be doing.
Because of the injury, I haven't been capable of exploring the city or the surroundings as much as I had hoped. On the bright side, that has allowed me to put in more hours at the tables during February. So far I've put in 76 h...chedule. This also allows me to play bulk of my volume during the time that I've always felt like I play my best - during morning.
I'm living with 8 other poker players in three different three bed room houses inside the same gated community. Stakes played vary from nl100/15$ hypers to nl5k/high stakes sngs. Nationalities include Swedish, English, American, Dutch, Russian, German and me from Finland. There are around 100 poker pros living in Chiang Mai alone. Just in one Skype group there are already ~85 grinders.
The Pokerstars quarterly 1M freeroll is starting in an hour. I'm spending the waiting time by watching the Swiss beating the Czechs in Sochi and writing this post. Will be playing 3-4 nl500 zoom tables while cruising my way to the final table and towards the 100k first price. Wish me luck!

I can feel your pain with the accident i'm also in a spot where whilst not looking too bad actually have quite a few problems when it comes to anything of high intensity (broke my back in august).
Been here almost a week now and got myself an office and a serviced apartment right in the city. I much prefer it over the idea of gated community a little on the outskirts, but each to their own.

@jmack: Nope, these houses are blue/grey. I wouldn't ever live in a house where being staked was mandatory... Wanted to try living with people for a change, which is why you kinda have to live further from the city center. I'm here to test out your math skills. I've actually taught a few dozen hours of high school math in my life and I've even spent a year enrolled to the Faculty of Mathematics at a Finnish university. Hence, I'm almost qualified to give you a math lesson 
First,
My lifetime vpps on stars at the beginning of this month were 419 650,83 vpps (yes, i'm not much of a grinder 
). This month I've made 51 612,62 vpps. By how much (in terms of percentages) did I increase my total vpp count during February?
Second,
So far I've gathered 86060,24 vpps during this year. I have increased my monthly vpp earnings by ~49,83% every month of this year (!). If I'm capable of continuing this rate of increasing volume throughout the year, how many vpps will I have 31.12.2014? During which month would I achieve Supernova Elite (1 000 000 vpps)?
Please put your answers into spoilers, so no one is forced to see anyone's answer before making their own. Both of these calculations can be managed with any standard calculator that you can find from your pc/mac/tablet/phone. Best and worst answer will get a reward! I'm not running great this month, so don't expect anything too grand. I'll provide the correct answers (if i got them right ♦) in 4-7 days.
