Long time no posts:

Here I replayed again and decided to switch to full W4rm4chine mode, no drooling around just poker poker poker when I have time. I can't let this wonderful oppurtunity pass by.

So today: most games played, 5 hours :

Tommorrow no 2 hours of school only, will try 6 hours (2 in the morning, 4 in the afternoon/ evening).

Only managed 4 hours today. A friend came by and we played random stuff. Really good times. Graph:

Tilted a lot on the big Ev downswing (some nice spew). Regained the control of my emotion rather quickly though.

and

[X] +25$ EV game _cool: _cool:

Tomorrow 4 hours. Probably going out in the evening.

What goes up must come down eh? It doesn't even bother me (such a baller ). I keep printing ev and crushing the game (although 8% in ev seems too high.)

The funny fact about me is that I only tilt when my EV is going down, not my winnings (as I don't need any money at this point of my life. Pretty crazy :) .

Most money made in one hour: 200$ (today)
Most money lost in one hour: 140$ (today)

running 40 BI below Ev lifetime 7$. I think this is also a new record

Okay very bad day

Played like shit (tilted a lot, can't steal shit etc...). -10 EV only, but with the card distribution I had, I should've crushed it. overall graph for the 7$:

And volume sucked. Why? Cause my big brother is downloading 32421423 movies, and all my family spent the afternoon on the PC. Results: 2 sec max to make decision, some timeouts. Impossible to do something proper. At least made 130 bucks today.

On a more positive note:

(steals only)

Huehaueauheua waddap? Watched the Wolf of wallstreet, cool movie.

Only managed to put 2 hours in, and we reach 800 games at 7$. Hallelujah:

Still running bad obviously. Is there anyway to life off EV?

Won't be able to reach 3k games, I have to go abroad another weekend (poor me :f_biggrin:). But still if I catch up It could be a nice month.

So, only one hour in today mainly because of an appointement with the doctor. And I'll explain why, because it has a direct influence on my poker ''career''.

So basically the 6th February, I'll have an operation to the leg (very heavy, I'll get somekind of exoskeleton to my right leg). Hence I won't be able to go to school for 7-8 months. Yes that's right, 7-8 months that I'll completely dedicate to grow my bankroll and my 6 max hyper knowledge, move up stakes, put in this damn volume and if everything goes well and if I manage well, I'll be pro after this period.

While the operation and this metal thing to my leg obviously sucks hard, I'm thankful to this because I'll have a decent excuse for my parents to just play play play poker. And when I mean play I'll set myself 6 hours everyday (right now with school etc... between 4-3)

And with the school everything is okay, as I'm a good student, I can miss one semester (will just have to do the finals, but hey I can get a 2 / 6 grade and still pass, so who cares).

So from mid february (10-15 days after the operation to get used to this ''metal cage'' and to recover from the heavy operation) till my birthday in October 2014, I'll just have no life and grind like crazy.

BR: 1320$ (running 100$ under ev lifetime)

And I finally had my first Royal Straight Flush today!

So it's been quite a while since last update so let's do a quick recap:

January:

Played around 1000 7$ 6 max hypers + last day MTT session to end the month +500$. Volume mostly sucked because I went out quite frequently to profit from my last days before my heavy surgery (which meant I wouldn't go out for another 4 months).

February:

Had my surgery which went really well, couldn't sit long in front of my computer so almost no volume, played a few MTOPS, lost a little, mixed MTTs won a little so breakeven month

March:

Played a little 6 max hypers (10 hours) lost like 60 bucks. Volume and motivation very low.

April:

Challenged myself to make just 1500 SNG (which with all my free time is peanuts) and didn't make, however playing great a running hot ( catching up with ev line after a little 70 BI -ev run, which I'm ok with because those are hypers). Beggining to hate those games more and more. + 500$

What now?

So 1/3 of the year passed by with me putting less than 100 hours, and made 1k (as much as last year). I'm making lots of money considering I was playing the 0.11 hypers on 888 one year ago, yet my motivation is low. I'm just getting sick of those games, playing little postflop and very boring. Props to the sickos which manage to play 100'000 of them in a year without killing themselves . When I had a 20$ BR I thought making 12$/h would make me put 6 hours everyday into poker. Boy was I wrong :f_biggrin:.

Also I decided to leave them behind because I was so sick of them, I stopped studying them. In fact I consider my push fold game quite okay, but I'm sure because of the lack of study I would get crushed at 15$ and above. Plus my play are really unbalanced sometimes (which isn't a problem against fishes or bad reg, but at higher level I'm just so easy to figure out). Anyway final graph at the 7$:

Spoiler

As you can see my Ev was cool, even though sample is ridiculous. I think I was more around 6% EV ROI (instead of 7% now) 4 tabling, which isn't exceptional but no that bad too.

With all this my BR is sitting now at 2000$! Which is quite an okay number if you ask me and looking back I'm proud I achieved it and it was worth every hour I put in this wonderful game.

And now what I'm going to play?

The answer is:

1-

Spoiler

Gunna sit 10/20 n' degen it up. As I ar so gud with the pokers am gnna own thoses fishes and become the 2nd Isildur zomg yolo swag. I be making 5 millis in one month lol izi, and party for 5 dayz till I dye of an overduse with hot hookas on mah bodiz... I are such baller #bilzeriangotnuthinonmehh #thuglife

2-

Spoiler

Or I will start playing MTTs

I'll start by playing some MTTsng. It'll be a mix of 2.50$ 90 men, 2.50$ 180 men turbo, 3.50$ 45 men and 4.5'$ 180 men and small scheduled tournaments.

I'll give the scheduled the priority when I have time, playing up to 11$ regular ones and up to 5.50$ for the turbos.

The reasons I'll play more MTT SNG in the beggining is because I'll go back to school soon, so I will not always have the time to play scheduled. I'll also play them to perfectionate my game. I have played 0.25$ 45 man 2 weeks in June 2013 and was crushing them (50% ROI), but I guess the level will be a lot better at the 3.50$ ones. I think I'll start 8 tabling at first, possibly only 6 tabling in the beggining. I'm not very good at heavy multitabling.

Play my first small session today, ended bricking everything (10 tournies) for -25$. I reviewed all the plays I wasn't sure but I mostly got badbeat or loosing 60/40, 70/30 n flips. I played fine I think for a rusty mtt fish :f_grin:.
I read all acoimbra's blog and stole his equilibrium range for shoving while being shortstacked far away from the money. I'm pretty happy because before I hadn't any clear range to do this. It was more like (ZoMG I az pocket 33 shove 12 BB UTG and stuff like that ) or like shoving 90% of the hands in the SB because hey he will call me so rarely since he is a 9 max MTT nit :f_biggrin: .

Will aim for 30 games tommorrow. Will maybe degen the 27$ SCOOP if I'm in the mood along with the sunday storm. Will try to watch some acoimbra's or gripsed videos. I also rewatch gripsed guide and make some notes in my notebook.

That's all and hope I'll start shipping soon .

BR: 2000$ (0.2% till lifetime achievement _cool:)

Hi BBQ,

Nice update,

May I say that I'm a little bit sad that you are switching from 6max hypers? :)

I love reading about 6max hypers _cool:

Bestof luck in crushing MTT's though, keep us updated.

Subbed _cool:,

waddap? So haven't been playing much, and when playing this happened:

Spoiler

I have my first small taste of thee legendary mtt frustration. I have made 1 final table in a 180p for 6th . Have played decently, ofc sometimes I just blew a stack or 2 away but it was okay. In fact I bust so rapidly mtt's that I never have the time to practise the ante phase xD. But i'm running way below ev in bbs so I guess it's not that bad. Also I find kind of strange to play without an EV line. With hypers it was assuring me that I was making correct decisions and that I was making money, but in MTT's when you have a downswing you can't check if you've run below EV and if you do things correctly, which I find disturbing. Anyway I can't be that much of a fish. Been playing mostly scheduled. It only takes 1 tournament to change your life!!!

Acceptable broke here? I also think it was kinda bad. Villain that felted us was 50/8 so I knew he would've raise big pairs. But he never check raise a multiway pot light. Best case scenario he had 2 over + flushdraw.

If anyone could give his thoughts on those hands
