So I though about my goals for 2014 and much hasn't changed from what I initially wrote in the opening post, except I am going to lower the monthly taget a bit, because I know it is going to be hectic at work, at least the first quarter of the year, so monthly target will be 20k hands and goal 2 is to be a NL50 Reg by the end of the year which I think is possible. I still have to work on my mindset alot too.

I'm going to update the op with the new goals

So I have a question for you guys (If there are any followeres of my blog!)

I am currently playing og both Stars and Betfair, but I am thinking of focusing on one site so i would get more rewards when getting higher status, the only thing is i am not tracked at Stars but the software is just so much better then ipokers ( which disconnects alot and is way slower ), so i am really in doubt what i should do.
Any Thoughts?

So here is the recap of this week, it went rather well and got in just over 7k hands

and that means that I am up about two stacks for the month so far, so not too bad. I had some bad calls throughout the week where I just had to  but i'm working on it

I decided that for now I will stay at stars, as I have plenty material to work on with plenos course, and the coming week I will work on blind play. And hopefully I can take some shots at NL25 again as I am only a couple of BI's away.

Hello mate, finally back from new years! :)

Seems like you're doing rather well, keep it up :f_love:

About poker room i would suggest you to play at betfair. Theres so much stuff here at pokerstrategy you can benefit from, which will help a lot towards becoming a nl50 reg at the end of the year. You can always switch later. I got to warn you though, I play at betfair now so watch out _cool: haha

Good to have you back! Yeah i'm doing well atm so hopefully i will take a shot at NL25 this weekend.
Have you had any connection issues since starting at Betfair? that was my main concern as it tilted me quite a bit. I'm definitly going back at some point, maybe when i reach NL50 so we can play together :f_biggrin: given that you havn't moved up ofc! Are you going to play regular tables or speed poker?

Weekly update

So thats the last time that I will jinx myself by saying that I'm doing well :f_biggrin:

This week I have been outdrawn so many times in 3BP's when holding AA/KK vs small PP that it is somewhat funny. And I got to see how bad I am laying down overpairs in 3BP's, though I think I have been playing okay, it kinda sucks when I was hoping that I could have been shooting at NL25 this weekend, just have to turn it around

Gonna post some of the hands to get some perspective on what I am doing wrong!

So Its time for an end of the month wrapup,
so I started the month a bit rusty after my illness, but clawed my way back in + but then it really did't go too well for the rest of the month, except in the end - actually I just had two really big loosing sessions, which is why I will implement a stoploss at 3bi, if i would have stuck to this I would have been in +. The thing is I actually played well in those sessions, thats why I didn't cut them short - that is gonna change!

Something for the eyes

On another note, I have miscalculated my BR since my move from Betfair to Pokerstars, and I have actually been rolled for my NL25 shot most of January, and now my BR is at 25bi for NL25 again so will probably make an 4-5bi shot at it. Will have a few sessions at NL10 before making the shot!
Will also add some none poker goals to my list since i have really been slacking off regarding working out etc.

all in all i think it was a good month, not winnings wise, but I found some leaks that I need to work on, so hopefully I can say at the end of feburary that i have plugged them :f_biggrin:

So February, I'm ready for ya, bring it on!

So haven't been updating alot lately due to the fact that i have been really busy and not really putting in any decent volume

graph for feburary so far

So finally have the weekend off and will try to get some volume in, would be nice if i atleast could hit the 10k hand mark this weekend, but we will see :f_biggrin:

So my February is finished pokerwise, and the theme of this month has been volume, or rather the lack of volume. Though I only played two tables at a time I am somewhat dissapointed that I didn't get more hands in, because I did have the time for it.

The graph

So I need to up the volume in march and I plan on the first shot at NL25 will be on sunday, as I am going out for a party tomorrow and expect to be hungover saturday. I will set aside 4-5 bi for the shot depending on how well I play and hopefully I will be on a massive heater :f_biggrin:

So I were really excited about my shot at NL25 (and still am) but I have been hit by the flu ;( so I actually haven't played a single hand this month as of yet. Hopefully I will get better soon, so I can get back to the tables.

Oh, sucks to hear that :(

Hope you get better soon so you can go into full crushing mode :f_cool:

Thanks alot Tino! I really hope it is over soon. I am at school at the moment so I have today and monday off, so I had even made a nice grinding schedule, hoping I could be putting in some decent volume, but apparently my body wasn't agreeing to four days of grinding :f_biggrin:

So I were feeling okay-ish yesterday, so I decided that I would play a little NL10 session, which was a bad idea, dropped a little over 4 BIs in about 500 hands, I could have avoided two of the bi's, but the other two were just standard, so my shot will be postponed until I get even for the month. I'm not shure if it was a case of being too excited to play again and trying to force things, that led to the two dumb stackoffs, but there were absolutely zero thought process behind! So I will need to FOCUS!

G'day all :f_love:

Hi, guys - I'm back :f_biggrin:

So I have had a couple of hectic months outside of poker but everything is going back to normal, so I will be back at the tables!
As it has been quite a while since I have played poker I am going to start off by playing NL5, just till I get the hang of it again. :f_cool:

Wish me luck

Thanks Tino!

So I think a little update would be in order. So I played the first couple of k hands and I have some issues to work on. I call down way too much and I trippel barrel way too much - fortunately this is something I can fix in a relative short time (I hope anyway :f_biggrin:). But on top of that the pokergods doesn't seem too happy with me being back at the tables, but i am sure I can turn them over sometime in the near future. well, in short, I'm down two stacks in about 3k hands so it is definitly not the end of the world _grin:

So until I resort the two issues I'm sticking to NL5 (the bankroll still allows NL25 shot, but I'm thinking I will stay at NL5 a bit and then get comfy at NL10 again, then take shots if the BR allows it!)
