Hi hvard92

yeah sure I can understand why you wouldn't prefer PKR. you could try Unibet, it's part of the microgaming network and it's pretty fishy from what I remember.

Luke

Yeah i played at 24h because they had a cool promotion (blazing cannons) at the time plus I was unlocking first deposit bonus. I moved back to stars for the traffic because my timezone is kind of inconvenient being from NZ

1. Which game type you play? (No limit? Sit & Go? MTT? PLO, Fixed Limit, Other?)

PLO

2. Which limit do you play? (example: NL25, SNG $11, FL .50/1)

Starting at PLO10 with 600br.

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?

SH

4. How much do you play? (e.g. I play 3 hours a week, or I generate $1000 rake/month)

100h/month or around 25-30k hands.

5. How many tables do you want to play?

4-6

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?

Move up to PLO50

Basically deciding between Ipoker(Whill or is there a better skin?), stars and ftp

I will mostly play around 16:00(18:00)-23:00 .
Im not that big of a fan for table selection.

My conclusion so far:

Spoiler

Whill ->
+ FDB, bigger RB (or atleast I heard so?), traffic seems okay.
- I dont know how long cashouts take, if its trustworthy etc.
- worse software

Pokerstars
+ Traffic, trustworthy, better software
- bad rb for micro/small stakes

Fulltilt
+ not so bad software
+ in one clikc money is back on stars
+ good rb deal with FDB and RAF

- traffic, it is really bad 4tables only.

What timezone is that?

Depends what you prioritize of the factors that you describe.

The William Hill rb is quite good if you take the bonus dollars over just cash imo and traffic is quite good if you pick the right time during the day (between 12pm to 12am GMT is quite good). I can't speak about their cashouts because i've had no experience with it but If you do go with them I would advise pre-emptively sending in the documents and things for security checks in order to speed up the process. Contact their support for this.

Basically weigh up whether stars' traffic would make up for WH's better rakeback and the FDB you will be getting.

And if conversely, a site's lack of traffic is made up for, with rakeback and FDB

Its CET.

Well, it basicaly boils down to what you said. Cant really make the decision, will check the traffic at WH frequently now. Do you think there is any notable difference in the softness of field between stars and ipoker?

Hey ProActiveK,

Imo iPoker is way softer to start with. Then you can add in crossover traffic from their Sportsbook and Casino.

WillyHill was my fave iPoker sites until they stopped accepting Australians. :(

Hope this helps

Laz

1. Which game type you play? (No limit? Sit & Go? MTT? PLO, Fixed Limit, Other?)

No limit cash

2. Which limit do you play? (example: NL25, SNG $11, FL .50/1)

NL5

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?

6-Max

4. How much do you play? (e.g. I play 3 hours a week, or I generate $1000 rake/month)

I am hoping to play around 15 - 20 hours per week as of January.

5. How many tables do you want to play?

Initially 1-2 then 4.

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?

As I have just started my online experience I am hoping to learn enough to help me move up to NL10.

Hey Flooooky

Do you have any accounts with any rooms? First off i'd suggest one of the ipoker rooms like poker770 or winner poker . Both have quite tidy VIP systems and first deposit bonuses. The traffic is the same since they are both on the ipoker networks plus with poker 770 also offering a free $20 on deposit.

Regards,
Luke

1. Which game type you play? (NL Holdem, sometime MTT on Sundays)

2. Which limit do you play? (NL05 4 table Zoom @ Stars or 20-24 normal tables)

3. Only Full Ring.

4. Minimum a 100 hours/ month.

5. I wanna play a maximum of 6 tables.

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?

Grind to 400$ (300$ now) and then move up to NL10. I play zoom on Stars because i can't play more than 15 days in the month but the field is very tight. I found out that the normal tables are a little bit softer then zoom but i try to open too many to compensate volum and I find myself playing on auto-pilot and my a game turns to b/c game...

Hey adina1314,

Have you ever checked out Speed Poker on the iPoker Network? It's the same concept as Zoom Poker. Please let me know if you have any previous accounts at any of our iPoker partner rooms and we'll go from there :)

All the best,
Gary

I only have an account on PokerStars. OK Ipoker but which one? Sorry for the late response...

Is rakeback important for NL05-NL10?

Hey adina1314

rake on ipoker is more than stars at micros but at nl20 it starts to chill out a bit so to speak.

Winner is probably your best bet, because of a great VIP system, great first deposit bonus plus more time and better clearance rate for this. Traffic and software aren't necessary considerations largely because they all use playtech software and most of the traffic is the same.

On a personal note i'd be playing at winner if i were tracked with ps.com but i found out about pokerstrategy.com after i had an account there :f_o:

I have got accounts with ladbrookes and 888poker which I have used in the past. Should I stick with either of these or is there a better option?

hey smoothwalker

Are you playing sit and gos $2 or nl2 tables? At any rate there are a lot of great options to choose from.

Should I stick with either of these or is there a better option?

Well if you're not tracked then you won't get any of our great material here unless you buy status but if you're tracked you can skip a step :) I'd suggest one of the ipoker rooms since you're already familiar with their player pools and software. Something like poker770 or winner poker . Both have quite tidy VIP systems and first deposit bonuses plus traffic is good .

Luke
