So back in 08 or so was pokerstars still the largest site? If not which site was and how many players were on during peak? And how many players were on pokerstars during its peak?

I don't know if anyone other than PokerStars would even keep track of that.
I personally wasn't playing online in those days.
Some of the traffic-tracking sites might have historical records, too.

party poker was largest I think until UIGEA was implemented in 06, then PS and FTP became the two largest sites after that cos they remained open to the US market
