thankyouu!

I played a reg today that I think is one of the best nl600-1 if not 2k players.. I ran pretty hot and crushed him kinda hard. I just won way more pots than he did no matter what my hand was.

Pokerstars software is theeee best! I just love playing there, challenging good regs mostly, it's fun and awesome, especially now since I think I can actually compete with the better ones that always give action and actually beat them!!! :f_cool:

Money really doesn't affect my plays at all anymore, I even took some guy on at nl2k table to have a table today, played ~15 hands ran pretty nice and he couldn't compete so he left I can't wait to have comfortable roll for n2k so I can actually start competing and challenging THE top level players :f_p:

Confidence obv higher than ever before but what can you do, I'm running good against those stars regs. Unibets poker gods not treating me that well lately but doing fine =) It sucks that I don't have hud with my hm2 but other regs can with PT4. Think I will also make the switch if that is going to be the only option X( With hud it's way easier to realise opponents leaks and weather ur better than villain.

I remember when I played nl50 I wanted to have bankroll for nl100 really hard to not be afraid of having to stop playing HU cash due to too low amount of buy-ins at 50.

It's gonna be very hard to win the unibets rake race as theres some other guy owning it up. Right now I'm 2nd with few more points than 3rd. Can't go full grind on unibet either as I want to keep SN on stars.

Today was a great day! In fact it was biggest winning day of my life :f_p: Started the day with a 2k hole but made it back and more :] At first I played some regs at nl1k where I won some nice money and later took money from weaker players! Running above ev is always cool :f_cool:

Up $13350.95 today.

Yeah I just read my blogs first 6 pages now, you also tried hu at some time ay?

It was a cool read, it's pretty awesome to look how I had constant 6-11hour grinding days and then next month I burnt out and had lazy start of the month and that constantly Will read the rest some other day, kinda late here and I'm somewhat tired.

Also an interesting fact, I had so sick swings at nl50 and 100, just watched the hands I posted back then, I was such an aggro monkey Novadays can't seem to have constant -10binish days.

Jachis if ur still interested in hu I could sweat and teach you, free of course :)

Flop: ($2.85) 6 :diamond: 4 :club: 2  (3 players)

Final Pot: $30.75
BTN shows 7 :diamond: 7 :spade: (TWO_PAIR SEVEN, SIX)
Hero shows 9 :club: 8 :diamond: (PAIR SIX)
BTN wins $29.22
(Rake: $1.53)

CO and BTN both are regs, decided to complete because we are deeper than 100bbs with CO.

I think when BTN cbets I thought his range is capped at 22-TT, maybe some combos of KJs+ and CO is clearly giving up so I think it's a profitable raise on the flop while I'm reping some 2 pairs and sets.

The turn card isn't the best for me to continue bluffing but I think I should still barrel to try and make 33,55,77,88,99 and TT (30 combos since I have blockers for 88 and 99, obv he won't fold them all 100% of the times but I'd expect villain to fold atleast 20 combos avg) fold which didn't happen to be the case. Obviously he is calling or raising 22,44,66 (7 combos). (maybe I should had bet .50-1.5$ more)

I don't think he would fold the river to a shove once he had called the turn, especially since FD and straight draws missed.

Unfortunately he did tank call the turn with 77 and I got owned Still think my play was good though.. if you have any thoughts about the hand feel free to post.

U decide to bluff since his range is capped at... the nuts? And u except him to fold a lot of pocket pairs on a low paired board. Makes absolutely no sense

hahahaha im such a fish :f_mad: :f_p: :f_mad: :f_p: :f_mad: :f_p:

Haha, I dont mind the flop raise. CO is pretty much dead money and BTN will also bet/fold a lot. 98o is one of the worst hands to do it with though, so I think you would be raising way too much in this spot if you raise with 98o :P

Don't like the turn bet if you are not barreling the river. Betting turn and river might work against some nits because 1) they won't have a 6 a lot of the time 2) they wont call down light.

But yeh 98o is too loose, even preflop.

Hi, nice evolution, could you do some kind of a review, about how did you start, what study materials did you find usefull, witch not, coachings if you had, how did they help, what were the bigest problems along the way, how did you manage to overcome them...

I started with 9man normal speed sngs, made about 2k bankroll then decided to move to cash as action at my stakes was pretty dead (stars). When I went over to HU cash completely I watched pretty much every single video there was here on PS (up to platinum). Definitely in the beginning the playing simple heads up videos helped out the most because on nl50 you really don't need to do anything fancy, you get insta profit vs some guys by just opening 100%.

I also read quite a bit of articles in the beginning, kinda got my theory from there a bit. Didn't really have any big problems, I mean I had setback and downswings when I moved up for example but I always had the right attitude and motivation to get back there and beat them next time. I think that is what got me here. One of my problems was though that I started playing some games which took the poker grinding motivation away.

Also I set myself some challenges to improve, for example waking up 3 days a week 1 hour before school and study poker ;)

I've only had 1 coaching session with internet in my poker career, I got myself proper ranges thanks to him which help a lot. We didn't find any leaks though which kinda sucked, but I'm happy I had the session with him.

Forgot to add hand evaluation forums, they helped quite a bit also, both posting hands yourself and evaluating other ppls :) + a friend of mine knows quite a bit about hu so I've had the chance to ask some questions =)

Fantastic improvement especially on your own!

Do you coach somebody now ? Have you thought about doing it? Perhaps some coaching+staking?

Thanks! I have sweated and helped some ppl out but not coached as for $. I recently joined a private skype group and maybe will start coaching them if they feel like it's beneficial for them. Coaching+staking seems a little sketchy and too risky for me so probably not. I like to keep things low variance :)
