If you decide to play this, check/shove with a flushdraw is probably the idea behind playing these hands. You play for straight/flush value and you might even have FE here, so check/shove looks good.
You still have outs if he calls you

you need 2:1 for a FD on the flop to go AI.
when you shove and he calls you get 16.4 : 7.5 thats 2.19:1 = 31.4%

i would consider he won't fold anything on the flop, but i tink sometimes he folds. so this push is quite profitabel for you

I'm not calling with suited one-gappers like ever. And I'm certainly not calling with them and stack of only 17bb! Clear fold preflop for me.

As played, chek/raise all-in on the flop would be suitable.

a minraise is mostly a weak hand and we have got playability also oop

i wouldnt call this hand only for my odds. but this hand is also good to outplay or oppenent.

btw. you just need 3.5:1 to hit a draw or a pair with a suited one gapper but you get 4:1

Hitting middle pair of nines with a jack kicker isn't really enough to continue with a short stack, I guess. This hand I'd have played purely for strong draw reasons.

Also, I don't get what you mean by saying 'playability oop', I'd rather be ip than oop with a draw...

i think we get very often his contibet, when we hit our fd or straightdraw und c/R
i also think i could have the best hand with 9 and J kicker.

and i generally think its to weak wo fold this hand for a minraise.

I wouldn't have played it, but it's just me.

I tend to call fishes like MP1 from the BB with SuitedOneGappers, SCs, PPs, Suited-One-Gappers, broadways purely to hit a strong draw and/or a made hand.

Is this style of playing correct if I do not do this too often? I even call more quicker with those hands if SB/BTN/CO decides to call to improve my Pot odds even more.

I either check/fold if I miss, check/call based on Odds/Outs if I have a strong draw and check/raise with a made hand.

As you may have read from allizdoR's posts, it's ok against every oponent, though it's marginal and can also be ommited in my opinion.

and even not neccessary on nl50 when it happens only for one time. but some players minraise to often...

be watchful to your oppenents

I like to make a play like this when some qualifiers are met
1) click-raise folded around to you in BB
2) call 20 rule is fullfilled, eg, you only make this play when stacked between 20-24 BBs
3) I have suited broadway cards or a small PP and in some cases small suited Aces (A5-A2). J9s is very marginal, higher str8s are possible, and AJ is good click-raise hand UTG.

Think about what your JTs or QTs or QJs looks like on this board... made hand my friend, no difficult decisions post flop ♦
