Villain is 29/18 over 90 hands

Given villain is so bad and probably has a ton of one card flush draws should I be aiming for more than on street of value even on such a nasty turn?

Hey ChangNoi77,

Preflop 3bet for value is fine.

Flop is super horrible for us. Cbetting for value is fine though. Sizing is fine, we can play bet/fold.

Btw what makes you think villain is so bad? We don't have a huge sample or anything. Villain would have to be super terrible before I even think about value-betting this turn. Nearly always won't be profitable. Even if he occasionally calls with one-card-FD's he also has a whole bunch of 2pair/straights etc etc.

It was purely his VPIP PFR stats that made me think he was bad. It's only 90 hands but in my experience in these games I've normally tagged him as a fish and very rarely have to change the colour tag past 90 hands sample.

I don't think I see any regs with stats much looser than say 21/17 that don't have serious problems with their game that you can see from just basic HUD stats.

Do you think I'm being a little premature here?

Maybe a touch premature. Even if he's not a strong regular we can't automatically assume he is horrible.

Without actual reads of him stacking with garbage I would assume that betting turn would be way to thin. Turn and river checks are fine here.
