Many setups and all that stuff lately but it doesn't matter, it'll turn around once again as always. Till then, focus on playing my best game.
Played ~90 30s. I enjoy 30s and don't feel I'm "out of my league" when playing them so we'll see how that goes once I have a bigger sample.
I played almost no games in the last week of this year. Took some days off, went back home to see my family and friends and last 2-3 days I'm feeling a bit sick, caught a cold or something like that so I just played a short session now and then. Really enjoyed this "vacation" and am looking forward to 2014.

My best month ever. Feels nice to be able to say that. I'm pretty happy with hours I've put into playing this month. It was basically only 3 weeks so would've been ~160h if it wasn't for the holidays and stuff that come with it. Biggest thing for me this month is the fact that I started adding some 30s. Haven't played a lot of them so it's a bit early to say much, let's just say I'm looking forward to playing more and more of them. ♦
This was such a turbulent year for me. When I think of where I was ~6 months ago and where I'm now, it's really pleasing to see that my effort is slowly starting to pay off. Already mentioned the biggest thing that happened this month so I can say it for the whole year also. Biggest thing this year was definitely my decision to contact Tim64. I was a complete wreck at the time + now I know how much I sucked at poker back then. Tim managed to get me on the right track and he definitely gets the most credit for me being a less sucky poker player today. It's up to me to continue improving, there's a lot more work to be done before I get myself to where I want to be. Big year behind, even bigger year ahead.

Dragging a damn cold for a week now, just can't shake it off. It's very annoying, can't play a lot cos I start losing concentration. Hope it'll leave me alone in a day or two.
Year didn't start that good, having a lot of setups lately, tons of premiums getting cracked post flop, being rivered by random stuff all the time and so on. Haven't been doing anything besides playing lately so plan to go through bunch of hands in the coming days, just to get back into the routine.

It's so easy to get into a "passive" mode with everything in life so the same goes for poker. My 6max journey started in March 2013. Almost a year passed since and I can say that I'm a different person and definitely a completely different poker player. I've struggled so much ~6months ago before contacting Tim that one would think it would've taught me a lesson. But I don't think that's the case.
I had my first "poker epiphany" like 2 or 3 months ago when coach made some reviews of my game and another one just yesterday after a coaching session. Both times my view of the game was completely changed. Biggest problem I had ~6 months ago was the same as the one I had yesterday. I thought I'm good enough at poker for everything to go smoothly and lol, I'm nowhere near that.
Most regs I play every day don't improve at all imo and it would suck if I looked the same from someone else's point of view. And I'm sure I do. There's only so much a coach can do. He's not gonna work on and play the game instead of me.
I'm sure I haven't improved 1% in the last ~2 months and I haven't realized that till yesterday. Sucks big time but it's nice to realize that.
Poker is something I chose to do, something I thought could give me an opportunity to have a better life. So, then, why is it so easy to fall into some kind of easygoingness, be so reckless about everything?
I'm so lucky to be involved in a stable where I have x number of players that play the same game as me. I can talk poker all day long, do sweat sessions, go over HHs with other players and on top of everything have a coach that offers so much help to all of us whenever we need it.
I would have to be really dumb not to take advantage of all of that. There's a lot of adjectives that can describe me but I'm pretty sure dumb isn't one of them.
So, stop fucking around and start working! Don't just say poker is a job, make it a job.
Every day:
*go over all pots bigger than 10bbs!
*go over all marked hands!
*use HRC that you fucking paid for!
*use HEM2 that you fucking paid for!
Poker is such a complex game it just blows my mind every time I have one of those moments when I pull my head out of my ass and realize how much room for improvement there is. Everything is up to me and noone else.

Can't complain on how this year started. Was hoping to at least repeat December but not gonna get greedy just yet.
I'm definitely not satisfied with my ROI and think I can do much better than this. But, it's only one month and as long it doesn't stay the same, I won't bother myself with it.
What makes me happy is that I had ~6% ROI on 30s. Not a big sample but I'm pretty confident I can earn money there. Had problems with 15s throughout the month but that doesn't worry me atm. Last ~two weeks felt like nothing was going my way. One of those periods when every fish hits its random cards over and over again. All in all, I feel super at the tables and enjoy the game very much. Pretty awesome I can say that.
Best thing this month was that I was reviewing my game a lot, working with HRC and all that stuff. Made a habit of it in the last 2 weeks or so. Every morning I go through everything I played the day before. On some days I spend 15 minutes on it, on other 2 or 3h. It's a very nice feeling and something that i mustn't stop doing, at least not in the near future. 
I'm satisfied with hours I've put into playing. Started the year with a cold which kinda messed up my plans for grinding so with that in mind, I'm ok with ~120h of play.
Had a misfortune when my computer shut down during one session (drop around 1300 mark) and it wouldn't start again. That's something that's worrying me but I just can't afford to buy a new one atm. But it's on top of the list ofc. Can't wait to get that monkey off my back.
In February, I'll try to grind more but all the focus will be on improving, playing my A game every time I sit down to play and getting that ROI higher which I'm 100% sure I can do.

After having my best day ever the day before yesterday, last 24 hours weren't that much fun. ♦ Lost pretty much every hand.
The whole month has been pretty tough so far so I'm hoping for a turnaround in the near future. 
Also, after months of using HEM2, noticed that those numbers for hours played in a day are rubbish 
so I have no idea how many hours I played this month/all the months since i bought HEM2. Gonna have to do it manually in the future I guess.
Such a piece of shit software.

Kinda sucks to finish the month this way but I don't think there was anything I could've done. Just one of those periods where you keep seeing nuts in every possible spot and feel like you can't win a single hand And after all, it's just last 2 days and ~30 BIs swing so not gonna let it cast a shadow on the whole month.
Had 8.4% ROI on 15s which is pleasing. 30s on the other hand were BE this month. Just when I managed to grind my way back up from the last swing it hit me again but they were both 20-30 BIs so nothing alarming imo. Obviously, still not a big volume on them but I continue to be optimistic.
This was the month in which I spent a lot of hours working and studying off tables. Definitely know where to improve which is encouraging, just need to find ways how to do it. I'm really happy that I finally made a habit of reviewing my game on daily basis. It gives me confidence and serves as great warmup for playing.
Don't know how many hours I played this month due to not realizing sooner that HEM doesn't track those hours correctly. Gonna do that manually in the future.
Gonna set myself a goal for the next month. As I plan to hit 200k VPPs this year, gonna try grinding enough VPPs to get me on track for those 200k and that number is: 23k.

Nope, it's only HEM2. Also, if I'm not wrong, it's only when you mix limits.
Last couple of weeks have been...in lack of a better word, I'll say interesting. 
I've continued with my habit of doing daily reviews of my game, finding ways to improve on things I notice are not that good. Had some sessions with my coach also so all good when it comes to reviewing/studying.
I haven't been checking how I'm doing on each limit separately but started feeling like 30s are pulling jokes on me more often.

Haven't been mixing limits for that long and this isn't that big of a sample but it's amazing to me how one can go smoothly and the other is just pure hell. Especially when I take into consideration the difference between these two limits isn't big at all and there are a lot more regs on 15s.
Things that are happening on 30s are just plain funny. Most of it is happening post so the graph's EV doesn't show the half of it. Everything gets cracked by garbage constantly. I'm shoveling my chips into the middle with sets,straights,flushes and by the turn I'm dead. ♦ And ofc, bubble setups vs regs are just a cherry on the top.
I'm finding this pretty interesting. I guess finding amusement in it is better than banging my head on the table. 
I'll continue studying and see how long it lasts. One thing I know - the heater after will be awesome. ♠_evil:
This month hit me pretty hard. So many problems, from losing days because of workers cutting off electricity to HEM2 killing my computer during sessions and forcing me to buy a new one and last but not least,horrific run throughout the month. Not gonna write much about it. Gonna say it was mostly 30s that hit me in the face. I'm still not making significant volume on 30s so the fact that runbad lasted through the whole month is not surprising I guess. It was a bit demoralizing but I'm still refusing to change my mind about being able to beat that limit. Gonna be easier for me to have a clear view on that once the run gets better because things that are happening there in the last weeks are just not normal.

Astonishing hourly. This month kinda set me back bankroll wise but what can I do... Gonna get all that money back, doesn't matter how long it takes.
Silver lining of it all is, I guess, that I'm sending my old computer to a well deserved retirement. New machine is coming in a day or two. Really looking forward to it because lately, old one's inability to run HEM2 smoothly started affecting time I've been spending doing reviews and stuff. When it crashes 2-3 times after running some filters, you just give up on it, unfortunately.
On the brighter side, I'm pretty happy with my coping with 15s which is still my main limit. EV is constantly increasing, this month it was ~7% and I'm sure I can get it higher than that.
