PF - no problem 4me with this stack size
RIVER - ?

Micro SnG No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t15/t30 Blinds - 8 players

UTG: t1850 61.67 BBs
UTG+1: t1765 58.83 BBs
Hero (MP1): t2620 87.33 BBs
MP2: t1470 49 BBs
CO: t1465 48.83 BBs
BTN: t1240 41.33 BBs
SB: t1780 59.33 BBs
BB: t1310 43.67 BBs

Pre Flop: (t45) Hero is MP1 with J♥ K♦
2 folds, Hero raises to t90, 2 folds, BTN calls t90, 1 fold, BB calls t60

Flop: (t285) 2♣ K♣ 3♠ (3 players)
BB bets t150, Hero calls t150, BTN calls t150

Turn: (t735) 9♦ (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

River: (t735) 5♣ (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, BTN bets t450, BB calls t450, Hero is tanking...

Hero has showdown value and still comfortable stack of t2380 (call and lose = stack t1930 / call and win = t4020

preflop: loose but ok, raise to 75, 90 fine
flop: its close, but I fold because its multi-way
turn: as played, ok
river: as played, c/f

Preflop:

OK.

Flop:

OK.

Turn:

We should bet here to protect our hand and to get value. Bet to ~400 chips is enough.

River:

As played, check/fold is fine. I can't see much value in a bet and the flush draw came.

I am struggling in spots where I either trying to pot-control or protect our hand. Btw just curious about that - whats the difference between these two terms?

+ In this spot (or imagine one) when would you pot-control on the TURN? Facing just one opponent post-flop?

1) in general pot-control more IP?

2) in general bet/fold more often in OOP?

Do you like general questions? :)
