I hope you're playing next week on stars. Heard about the promo?

Aye, good promo!

Shall be on stars through the next week on the 3.5 45's.

How are 3.5, 45-man's on stars? Are there too many regs?

Howz the game usually? Are you beating the games comfortably?

I used to beat them for about 20-30% for a couple months. Yes, but quite reggy. Have been playing very on and off now, so been breakeven over the last 100 games or so.

Me too. Felt like nothing was going my way. Was about to give up and play cash and MTTs. I'm not sure why but regged into one $2.5 and $4.5 180 man SnF. Shipped the 2.5 and now deep in the $4.5. Phew!

But I think I'm done with these 180 mans. Going back to normal cash and MTTs. Can't handle the turbos.

Settling into Rush Sngs, and they are great fun! Up about 30 BI's so far. Have only managed to 2 table so far, i think more than that would not be optimal for rush.

Taking shots at the 4.4 while playing the 1.1s. Shots not yet paid off, but am quite happy with my play so far.

Here's one play I liked. Do you think its possible to get more value without hitting?

Haha I love how you're trying to get value on that board. There's a high chance that you have the worse hand. You probably made a pocket pair fold.

Nope, man. Was starting only when i just started playing rush. Played an event, but wasn't used to anything, so i busted early. I dont really have a strategy for the rebuy tourneys yet. Praps next MTOPS. You played ME?

@Clawin: Yup! When he called my squeeze, i had him on pairs + AKs, AQs. But the weak bet settled it. Perhaps 99 or TT (But If he was holding AQ, he would have owned my ass with that weak bet )

Posting after the longest time!

Started playing very LAG on the rush sng's on FTP after many comments on strategy threads here, and following advice from Prabhat, et al. Yup, it works alright! My %itm has dropped drastically, but ROI has shot up. It is frustrating to bubble out of tourneys, but you need 40 mincashes to make up a 1st place finish!

At last, I seem to be learning.

Planning a trip to turkey in the last weeks of september. Want to go to ankara, istanbul, then a 7 day trek along the mediterranean coast. If anyone is interested, pm me, I'll send details. I plan to travel shoestring, staying at hostels and perhaps couchsurfing.

@Donka,

Planning to leave at 17-18th September to Turkey
Need to be on the mediterranean coast on the 19th for the trek

Trek details: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B4cRjHvP6deLSlRXOGVnTGN0cEE/edit?usp=sharing

I trekked with this group in Slovenia, its pretty good fun.
The trek should be reasonaby easy, since its listed as a walking route. (And among the top 10 walking routes in the world)
Rough idea of post trek:
26th, 27th: Ankara
28th 29: Istanbul
1st : Flight back

Budget, I expect should be about <1.2 lakhs. (45-50 k for tix, 37 k for trek inclusive)

Do let your friends know as well!

Come this time itself! You were talking about getting a change of scene anyway, right?

Hmm will let you know. Not feeling it. I think the lack of sleep has something to do with it. I'll probably reply on this thread once I go to sleep and wake up.

More theatre! Me, being the lights man handled 3 packed shows in Jagriti theatre this weekend with an awesome company. And to add icing to the cake, I got a call from Evam to do a show in early august. Wooo! Its great when your hobbies start paying dividends.

Played some more rush n go, and am doing quite alright. Perhaps it is time to take it to the next level, and hit the $4.40 games. Shall start adding it in slowly...

I dont know if the trek is happening, since the organizer hasn't got enough entries. But I booked the tickets for turkey anyway. All in, baby! Another solo backpacking adventure will be win.
