right now I cant win a single hand on nl2 sets over sets flopped straight lose to runner runner flush overpair aipf lose to lower pairs flop 2 pair vs sets I am beat no matter whatever I hold ♦ But u have the luxury of br so keep going it might end soon Best thing ur running good on nl100 play that for a while
Wow that's pretty disgusting.
Don't want to make you feel worse but I need to point out that even the EV line is negative so you probably are tilting and making mistakes too.
I know its hard when you're running bad and all but just thought I'd tell you since sometimes we don't realize it when we're going through a bad run.
Keep your chin up though. You've bounced back before and you surely will bounce back here too. Just continue to keep making the right decisions.

played only 30 games today
down 60 EV - -40 so theres some leaks i gotta fix will review todays games before playing anymore
did some study and played 1 more session
though i didnt lose a lot must be like 40ish in this one but its probably the worst session ive had
Every over pair lost every AK/AQ vs worse Ax lost, rarely won flips
BVB keep running into better Ax or over pairs
couldnt even win with KQ on KKQ board ♠
need a break and also need to work on my game
Might go back to 9 mans for a while till i get my confidence back
Just had a small chat with my coach
We are going to do a review on Tuesday as hes not free before that
Hes advised me to keep playing as stopping for a while is pointless unless my mental game is affected
According to him i should cut down on tables and reduce sessions to get me to focus on poker and get rid of the negative thoughts that come due to the bad run
Gonna try and do that for a while
Just did a long review of a lot of my games analysing each spot at 4/3 handed play
Came to three conclusions
1- Am I running bad? - Yes pretty bad
2- Am I playing good? - Nopes, playing ridiculously bad and hence the downswing is bigger
3- I am pushing tighter and calling wider than i should. Sometimes wide enough that its -ev call in chip ev as well
My calling/ repushing ranges are completely messed up
This is what happens when u stop studying for a while
Going to go back to basics and have to study ICM all over again and rework my ranges
Heres how i did the study
First i went through all HH and found out spots where SNG wiz/Nash said something different than my action
Then Played 6 tables and started marking hands where i was not sure, manually did ICM calculation after the session and then compared with SNG wiz/nash
Finally managed to get my EV line going upwards but ran into a lot of hand over hand situations and ran bad
But atleast made it BE in terms of profit and EV line went upwards so thats something good
weeeeeee
Finally back to winning days
We are up 191 since yesterday
Reduced number of tables to 6/9 for now
EV line is also going up but still needs a little more iimprovement
sigh
playing really well
EV keeps going up and money keeps going down
So disgusting this year has been
Why your focus is too much on results
Just ignore for few days & try not to post anything about results
its hard to not be results oriented when each session is 10-30 BI down
Had another disaster session down 350 today
Its become so hard to even cash in the events
Cant win flips, cant win when ahead, BVB keep running into bigger hands
