Because I didn't want to face a bet by him, because he can do this with the flush but also with air...
I don't say that betting the turn was right here, just saying why I did it 
I don't really like it especially since villain doesn't seem very aggro. It's a shitty spot though, maybe bet very small like 15$ if you really want to bet ?
I would rather go for a check/Call if you think he is capable of bluffing.
c/c turn: your bet doesn't make much sense. if he has a better flush, he may decide to call and bet the river or raise. If he has a worse, he won't call you. If he has air, he may bluff you... Hence, you don't get better hands to fold, nor you get value from worse. By c/c the turn you invest nearly the same amount of money, but catch his bluffs (or he might v-bet worse flushes).

no. And i c/c the the turn as well and probably push the river myself if he has less then half pot size left, which should be the case.
