I think its good to bet flop here with Aq because its one of the best tp u have on the flop. Think u should b/b/b because u could have missed so much(random c draw,jtor so).if fd misses i would just bet 2x check back river because his callingrange gets lower.

Well first you want to have an idea of villain's 3betting range. Since it's BB vs BTN, and since he folds so much to 4bets, I would assume it's something like TT+ and AQ+ for value, and then a bunch of trashy bluff hands, like K5o, small suited queens, suited two-gappers, etc., but probably not too many Ax hands since those should generally be strong enough to flat with, with the exception of maybe 6 to 12 combos of a couple weak off-suit aces, since you did open to 2.5x. (Results-wise i am wrong here but whatever.) Notice this is different than a SB range, which would include a lot more Ax hands.

SO, for that reason I wouldn't think you can get 3 streets with AQ here, though if villain were SB instead of BB I would think we can. Checking back the flop is fine (unless villain checks some FDs, which most players at 100nl don't do), and plan to call/call or bet/bet or call/bet.

I think this is the type of player who never balances his cc range to include monsters and flush draws so i think AQ is the virtual nuts on the flop and turn and i would just fire thrice.

What do you expect to get value from by betting 3 times?

AX. Your arguments about him having AX less often are valid but still...

2. Villain is tight with his calling

A2o may be a snapcall for us but this guy would probably be more inclined to 3b it since he doesnt feel comfortable with playing oop without initiative

So exactly A2o and maybe A4o (6 combos each)? It seems pretty thin to me considering:

a) Villain may not always call down/stack off with A2o.
b) Villain has some two-pair hands (K3, K6, A3, A6).
c) Villain is presumably giving up on this flop with air, so we can induce some turn and river bluffs by checking back the flop.
d) We don't need protection vs. flush draws (or anything else on the flop), as you mentioned.
