1) How do you think, which is the best approach to study - master 6mNL ?

2) What did you do to become so successful at poker? :)

3) Currently I'm studying poker for a 4 hours a day, so maybee you have advices how
could I get max Value from these 4 hours. :)

4) What are the best ways of improving one's tought process in a hand ?

The story:
Currently I'm playing 6mNL10 2 tabeling zoom for atleast 6hours a day.
At begining of year I started to play NL2 on regular 6max tables, playing 12 tables at a time, then I moved to NL5, after a week I was already playing NL10, but got owned, so I cut down the amount of tables I was playing - because I was really playing like a robotic hand without thinking much so ended up by playing zoom 2 tables, so I have more time to think on every particular hand. But yeah I don't want to stay in NL10 for too long. So looking for any advices how to improve my game as fast as possible.
The number one thing I want to develop and improve, is my thought process in the hand.

Lots of respect, and thank you in advance! :f_grin:

Hi

Nice and colourful post ;)

1) don't overstudy. Find coaches you enjoy listen to and watch his videos. Play play play and learn from playing and finding spots you don't know what to so and then fix it so oh know what to do. You could spend 8 hours watching 8 videos and not fix anything. As soon as a hand finishes that you were stick with save it and post it somewhere.

2) experience. Playing. Losing. Self reflecting. Ambition. Degeneracy. All very important IMO :)

3) wow way too much. Take those 4 hours and devote 3 of them to playing

I recently watched some of your video on playing from the BTN and went through the associated article. I don't adjust nearlly as much and I've learnt a lot about the ranges I should really be playing already and will likely do the same for each position once I check those articles too.

There are so many different ranges and lines to use against each position; I simply can't suck it all up.

How would you advise me to apply these ranges to my game?

Idd interesting statement and would love to hear more of that how a 1k/2k zoom reg looks at the players in the super high rollers.

Hey

One question regarding defending BB at zoom. Sorry if it already apeared somewhere, couldn't find it.

- youre playing zoom 100bbs
- sitting in BB
- facing 3bb steal from BTN who is somwehat reggy opponent with about 40-45% steal from btn and std fold3b of ~60%
- no history involved

How do you construct your defending range starting from beggining eg what % of hands do you defend overall (by both 3betting and flatting preflop) against 3x open from the BTN at zoom?

Again, I'm aware that it depends on BTN's tendencies but you have to start from something.

Thx

Hey

Just every time you have a closes pot save the hand. You should've saving more hands such as pre flop with j7s if you're still unsure with pre flop spots than river decision. Play less tables, play slower. Take more breaks, evaluate and then start again.
