If it wasn't cancelled you wouldn't
:P
my TT fall against J7 (all in preflop with 77on flop)... seconds before I learned that the tournament has been canceled. I've never felt so good about losing. hihihhi ♦I'll make sure that the replay won't be the same!!!
Im In!
Now where's me chips lol ♦
Only taken 6 hours since first trying, nice. Sounds like you guys had fun all the same though. Wp Drakhor.
Cool!
This was a first PS league tourney i forgot to register to. I'd be happy if it's repeated.
After a night's sleep I still don't think it's fair towards those who were at the final table. 6 of them (so 60%, a clear majority) were actively playing, and each of the final table players (10/10, so everybody) had a bigger chip stack than they began with, which means that they have been active as well at some point. It obviously wasn't a server-wide problem (even though I was also disconnected shortly, but managed to get back on again within a minute), so why should we be punished?
In previous tournaments, there have also been many sitouts all the time after all. Heck, even Soy sat out in the previous one and in the end got more points than most of those who played for real. How about we take away all the points the idlers received, in every previous tournament? That would only be fair, no?
Yes, I'm of course most concerned because I won it, and because I'm currently on the bubble with my 19th place in the overall ranking, but I'm sure there are at least 5 other players who agree with me.

Since I announced the tournament to be cancelled and void, the only fair solution is to actually leave it cancelled and void. Many players went afk after the announcement or pushed any two cards in order to bust. Although I don't want to "put down" those players that did reach the final table - there is definitely a difference between reaching the final table in a tournament against competition that is actively playing, and playing against people that push any two cards, go afk, or no longer play seriously.
Since no one was forced to continue after the announcement, and it was clearly communicated that there would be no additional points for those playing - its not really "punishment" and will continue to stay this way.
I am currently looking for a replacement date. I am thinking of either having 2 tournaments at the same time in one of the next 2 weeks, putting it on a Sunday, or on another weekday at 20:00.
Although I would be happy to get points from the torney as I came 3rd, we all knew it was cancelled so I dont think it would be fair to count for points. At least you won Drakhor and got the Dirty Dozen prize which you can turn into $2000.00!!!!
Although a little unfair to those that did finish the tourney, in fairness to all canceled should mean canceled period. I need the points just as much as the rest sitting in 18th. When I was told by MrHolmes it was cancel I was like wtf, I was doing well and would have went far, however I checked the forums and it in fact was announced by SOY. I then left, to do other things. Its unfortunate but SOY made the best decission for the good of the community.
Voiding was the correct desicion..........I cancalled my wife's birthday party to play, so not only did I not get any poker I also didn't get to....
To make it fair let Drakhor start with 1501 chips next time..........
It's a good idea to have 2 tournaments next wednesday so we don't keep a day busy.

Mannnnnnnn why should you do THAT? cancel your WIFE's birthday party for a FREEROLL... waaaw... making such moves might get you KILLED!!!! ![]()
beware... beware!!!
look at it this way, your football team is winning 2-0 at half time and the floodlights fail. the match is abandoned, so it is replayed at a later date, you dont get the 3 points because you were winning when the lights failed.
