BU 24/20 AF:1 fold to 3bet:50 fold to cbet:0(3) 47h.

Pre flop: for me it's standart 3bet. If BB would be a fish I would call more.

Flop: I think x/f is too weak and x/c is the worst play, so bet/fold looks best. He can fold overcards without diamond, some pp's and when he just calls OTF I think he is not that strong.

Turn: I think that betting don't achieve much. Because now we beat overcards w diamond, x/f is not good. His bet is kinda small on such drawy board, so I think about x/shove, he would have hard time w almost all Tx and even overpair like JJ.

What do you think?

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9:h, 7:h.
3 folds, BU raises to $0.62, Hero raises to $2.00, BB folds, BU calls $1.38.

Flop: ($4.25) 4:d, T:d, 8:d (2 players)
Hero bets $2.52, BU calls $2.52.

Turn: ($9.29) 7:s (2 players)
Hero checks, BU bets $4.70, Hero shoves ???

Villain doesn't fold to 3bets enough and cbets yet you decide to 3bet and cbet... Genius!

bet turn you said it yourself that you now beat over cards with a diamond so why not value bet the 7 plus charge him to draw? OTR if it's a blank i guess you just have to x call depending on his bet sizing and your reads on villain. As played I dont think i like a x shove on the turn it's way too high variance and you don't need to take those kinds of lines against players on nl25 you should just keep it fairly simple. So i think betting the turn for thin value and re assessing on the river is probably the best way to go.

monster1117, yeah, my line is probably too fancy. X/c looks not so bad, but it will be pretty tough desicion OTR.

Rihard4a, I would not rely so much on other stats than PFR and VPIP, when sample is not over at least 100 hands.

If you don't rely on stats that are not at least 100hands why do ypu even bother posting them???

And such sample still gives you a rough idea how someone is playing, and you have to rely on whatever information you have when playing. Why do you guess when information is in front of you? ?(

Pre is good. Flop is good, you can bet smaller as well on mono boards.

He doesn't seem to fold to much to cbets(really small sample thought), so I might consider just giving up on the flop. On the turn you do not have a value bet, you need 50% equity vs his calling range to value bet. I would just X/F turn, almost no good rivers for us.
