Super Turbos

Zoom

f it, had a few days off. Had an interview that took up my whole head-space for a few days & then epic failed

Anyways, the 5NL zoom has got quite nasty, although the EV line is almost break-even.

I'm playing some 2NL zoom & feel much more comfortable there atm.

November Roundup X(

Fast Poker

HU Speed Turbo SnGs

I'm completely bored with both formats, so switching to HU Cash for a change of game & see how things pan out, I can always watch some gold videos for a bit now aswell.

HU Cash does actually seem quite interesting, the potential for either myself or villain to spew is amazing - I need to sort a good HUD out & look for decent opening ranges (I guess its ALOT).

So - just going to try & find some forum stuff & videos on the subject, I've watched a few of Gordons vids, but I dont have a fundamental strat yet apart from stuff (good/bad) that I do in HU SnGs.

I actually find it incredible tilting having so many guys 3x the BTN, ofc I understand a minraise always gives villain odds to call, dunno what I think yet...

Hand of the day; (villain was a nit who just 3b me for the first time; next hand [i think my 3b was a bluff])

Enjoying pokerz again for the time being.

Lost 3BI yesterday , 2 standard coolers JJ < QQ, KAo < KJo.

HU cash has lots of coolers spots - but certainly quite a good learning tool im my opinion. I think I can look at spots in 6-max games a bit better already.

I have modified gordons HUD for turn stats, and F,T,R agg % which seem handy.

this villain was really aggy vs me. Obvs he hated facing min BTN raises & was 3betting >25% and quite large, my gameplan was to tighten up BTN range & play big hands.

Random update;

Still playing fast poker at 2NL or 5NL.

I had a few Full tilt points left in my old account & bought some tickets for HU hypers $0.50, then played rush 2NL to make $50.

I mostly play a thousand hands/day normally & the volume has helped me a little, although I still have major leaks I think I can feel out certain spots/villain tendencies a bit better.

This seems to be my results so far mostly at 2NL, I did think I had played alot more but maybe this is correct mainly because I hardly played any hands when I first started & 1 tabled :f_biggrin:

*edit* - updated graph. Approx 400k hands played now.

Anyways, GL guys.

Hero ?

So BTN is playing most of the deck.

I don't know whats best;

1. b/f half pot, the same on a bricked river.
2. x/c a small bet
3. x/c a slightly bigger bet
4. x/f

Option 1 is the best?

Hi sileekhunt,

you raise preflop and he call
you have done a good bet on flop and he calls
I would play the 1 option.(anyway is difficult decision...)

Hey man,

yeh I would bet again also. I think I get freaked out at 10NL coz I played too much 2NL & its easy to get stuck there.

This month I've been at 4/5/6NL on various sites....doing OK despite not being in the best mindset for poker these last few days.

Standard 'somebody has AA' spot;

This pre-flop raiser is like 40/3, and the reg-nit (15/5) flats. I really thought the opener had AA though tbf.

March 2014 results;

Still messing around on fast poker mixed 2/4/6NL. I still have major pre-flop leaks & problems but not too bad.

I think taking a $50 shot at 10NL for this April could be an interesting experiment. I wont be playing more than 2 fast tables at a time.

So the goal for this month is to play 10NL with $50, if I loose it then ill move down a level. :f_biggrin:

Feeling OK about the game again :heart:

I don't think I'm beating it or anything like that, my attempt from 2NL to 10NL seemed too much so I zoomed at 5NL.

I know for sure that I plugged 1 huge leak, & I am working on another with some interesting results. This needs to be done before 10NL.

I reviewed a really old coaching session I had where the guy was very honest with me about how bad my approach was. He was correct - but at the time I did not understand why........ it was because I was not putting volume in & I was noob/stubborn.

I think 1k/day in volume is great for learning.

Thinking about another coach as I have about $200 spare for such things. Maybe also PT4 for OSX.
