_cool: Villain - total unknown

Overall view: very safe line
Key moment: TURN where we hit nut flush-draw and decided to just check/call and eval river
Questions / Ideas: Just your overall opinion about line / how would ideal line should look like / How would you play it against reg/MT (88+ AT+ KJ+ range) - give me just answer worth 1/5th of my monthly limit :P Thank you guys!

hi proky11,
preflop: 3-bet to 180 and stack off, in micros unknowns will get it in with a wide range
flop: as played, ok
turn: as played, c/c
river: as played, easy c/f

Hello all,

Preflop:

3-bet for value but fold if he shoves. Very rarely villain is going to shove weaker here.

(88+ AT+ KJ+ range)

3-bet QQ+ to stack off, AK for value but fold to 4-bet and call all other hands.

flop: as played, ok
turn: as played, c/c
river: as played, easy c/f

This.

Guys if you have any questions, do not hesitate to write in this thread by clicking the button or

Best regards,
Antoan

Just summarizing this: post-flop is OK (keep the pot small for cheap showdown) and preflop just 3bet/fold from any position?

Btw. what if Villain is on UTG?

If we are in position to villain opening from early position its going to be often better to just flat. Unless we think stacking off preflop is going to be ok. Versus tight villain opening from UTG or middle position I am totally ok with just flatting from BB as 3betting would often get weaker hands to fold. Versus unknown its ok as they are often going to continue with many weaker hands.
