sorry, i read it wrong lol - yeah its a good group and some good ROI,s coming out of it.
300 games complete of the ALL-IN challenge - finally hitting the green so game on for last 200 \o/
400 games done - another horrendous run at the end of this 400 games wich really does test ones resolve, but as ever i carry on i have roughly 24 buy-ins to play with for a $200 side bet challenge - ship it?
50 games to play of the 500 ALL-IN or fold challenge, and i have a profit of $7 - so this 50 games is going to be bit close for $200 lol
The ALL-IN or fold challenge has ended with a prop bet win of $200 - ive got 20 games left to play but obviously cant lose due to having a profit larger than the buy-ins left to play ratio - i shall complete the last 20 games of the challenge tomorrow because i said from the beginning a 10% roi would be possible playing a very static strategy in these games.

So 1. good luck at the tables and
2. is there any specific reason that you are playing 45man only?
i started with 30 bucks and 45man but as soon as i´ve reached 100.- i started with 90, 180 and 360 man as well.
much higher roi´s in these and similiar game play. i play around 35-40 tables which also gets me going quicker with the number of tables if i mix em. thoughts?

Hey GWHunting - i have seen you alot recently in these 45 man games - the reason i play 45 man turbos exclusivly is because i think there a very soft format and some good roi,s are attainable even long term, i agree that the 90, 180, and 360,s would be very profitable, im looking into doing a 180 man challenge next year, mixing in your games using a blended bankroll approach is a great idea and one i use to move up stakes quicker myself.
35-40 tables - i have total respect for mass multi tablers, wish i could play that many

Ive never been able to mass multi-table, but i shall be granting your wishes and doing another prop bet challenge, i have to play 1k games of 45 man turbo,s in 10 days!! My last 1k games took me 1 month, $200 prop bet excepted - shall be starting it April 14th till 24th.

sure i agree, 45man are a safe way to go but yea: u just cant reach enough roi compared to rake to rly make huge money imho.
U seem to play solid and reach a 2 figure roi in these but hmm: 67 dollars in 1100 sngs just doent seem right to me.
if u have the skillset to beat 45man u can sure also beat 90 or 180man. my roi there is something in the 40-50% range mixing these 2 and i dont consider myself like veeery good..
about mass tabling: as soon as u play higher u should ofc cut some tables but with these 50 cent sngs i just believe that with a set strategy u will be able to beat the games bigtime and now its just a matter of clicking speed i also get bored playing anything bellow 20 tables rly :/ i have to say though: i seem to have no life, pretty scary to have 15800 sngs under my belt just this year allready haha.

Im not really bothered about 90 mans tbh - but im looking at doing a 180 man challenge after this one is complete, ive checked your OPR stats and at 45 mans you have a 14% roi and 46/180 you have a 12% roi, obviously than can be skewed with different buy ins but its a steady profit. (good profit)
Ive never been able to mass multi-table so the prop bet from my mate seems worth while, its a part of my game i have to improve on, as for prop bets i dont prop bet others because i no theres some sick grinders out there.
i meant that to me its not worth the time even though its for sure steady profit. id rather take the bigger one
yea seems way off: i played tonns of 2.50s, 3.50 and even 7s with marginal results
check pokerprolabs this year. 63% roi in 180man 0.50 ( obv before my session so hope that changes going higher ♦ )
obv depends what ur goals are:
if u are looking to improve ur game, play less tables and focus on exploiting others and sharpen ur game. if you are looking to move up as fast as possible: get together some working strategy and play as many tables and hours as u possibly can. good luck sir
Ahh ok no worrys dude - its merely a challenge, the money is not the motivation, its the love of poker i enjoy, i,am financially secure so making vast amounts (all though nice it would be) is not my goal.
I,d like it if you kept me updated on how your doing cos i have respect for people that want to make a go at a living from poker, hope it all goes well for you sir.
Hey Shanesmith i've just read through your blog and i'm enjoying it as it is exactly the kind of games i was playing before i took a break from poker last year.
Anywho i came back on pokerstars and started casually playing mtts last week just for fun with zero bankroll management and unfortunately failed to final table =D so now with my puny remaining bankroll i feel ready to embrace the grind of 45man sngs once again

and was just wondering what i need to do, as i have never participated in anything like this before

Also to GWHunting0 i was wondering if you would be willing to do something similar (study group/ skype group etc) for any of the larger tournaments especially 180s as that format has always interested me but i have failed to yield as good results in the past as i did with 45mans.
