My first hand on the table. I think flop was ok. Turn was realy bad and I should give up there. Even when I had trips.

Hi Taxdriver,

I agree going all-in on the turn on this board is rather risky against unknown. I think you should call his Turn raise since you have a strong hand and its a minraise.

Check/fold would be my river strategy in this case.

Hi,

First of all, this is a limped pot. So in general we want to play small pots with our mediocre strength hands.

Flop is well played. Limpers could have wide range of flush-draws, pocket-pairs, even gutshots and open-enders as well as some Ax that won't just give up, so bet.

Turn is closer one. Now you have trips BUT you don't beat any value hand that raises you. Think of it - if someone limped like K7o, then they are already way ahead of you. It's also a limped pot, so I see no-one making bluffs on such a scare-card. Thus you should just call, hope for a full-house AND fold river if not improved.

Just call turn. OTR if we don't fill up I'd probably check/call even though I know I should check/fold.
