not 3betting pre, basically i have no 3bet range against a 21/16 opening in UTG.

as played i think turn is a check. if he has some sort of rundown hand he's gotten there and you're beat. if he has an overpair he is way behind. AA are rather rare. A high fd shouldn't be out there too often either, would have to be ABBB with clubs and you block broadway cards.
you even have someone behind which i missed at first glance, so i think you have to check. you have the advantage of seeing UTGs play should BTN jam, if it goes BTN jam, UTG call you have an easy fold.

edit: plus your hand is in your actual perceived range and not even at the top of that, so i doubt villains make significant mistakes here.

Yeah, I wouldn't 3 bet against that opening range. Could easily be dominated.

I check the flop, have to fold to C/r and Overjams with the guy behind you.

As played. c/f the turn. Everything he is calling with on the flop just smashed and hit a home run and is going to shit all over you.

SPR is something to take note of, and I guess you can assume he may jam flop with the nut flush draw, but like, you're so rarely ahead here and drawing sooo thin

Hi,

first of all, folding to a c/r otf is a terrible idea that should be discounted asap.

Turn is a jam i believe. I think it's safe to say noone has the NFD, so our flushdraw outs are live. It's hard to pick a range of hands that we beat though that call the flop as well, but our guaranteed equity imo makes jam the only possibility here.

High variance spot, but i can't see myself avoiding it.

Regards,

Skod

hey skod u said nothing about pre. what do u think?

as played i´m with u that i think i have to jam turn because a nfd would often raise flop in a 3bpot imo

Well preflop is fine for sure. I mean even if he is tight he should have AA only like 3% of the time.

Calling might be safer though, but it's definetly not a mistake or anything to just 3bet pre.

Regards,

Skod
