Not checked FFRRAANNKKIIEE's answer yet but I think maybe he beat me to it....ok here goes

Spoiler

1) 51 612,62/419 650,83*100= 12.30% increase congrats!!
2) March = 51,612.62*1.4983 = 76,541.52 in March yearly total = 162,601.76
April = 76,541.52*1.4983 = 114,682.16 in April yearly total = 277,283.92
May = 114,682.16*1.4983= 171,828.28 in May yearly total = 449,112.20
June = 171,828.28*1.4983= 257,450.31 in June yearly toal = 706,562.51
July = 257,450.31*1.4983= 385,737.80 in July yearly total = 1,092,300.31 SNE!!!
August= 386,737.80*1.4983= 579,449.25 in August yearly total = 1,671,749.56
September = 579,449.25*1.4983= 868,188.81 in Sept yearly total = 2,539,938.37
October = 868,188.81*1.4983= 1,300,807.29 in October yearly total = 3,840,745.66
November = 1,300,807.29*1.4983= 1,948,999.56 in Nov yearly total = 5,789,745.22
December = 1,948,999.56*1.4983= 2,920,186.04 in Dec yearly total = 8,709,931.26
SNE in July and by the end of the year you will have :
8,709.931.26+419,650.83-January vpps(34,447.62) =9,095.134.47vpps!!!
Not checked any of these calculations so might have made a mistake :)

1 . 12.2989 %

2. First off all i must say that if you had a increase with 49.83 % you should have on february 51612,86 not 51 612,62 :) . The difference si from the fact that you round the percentage that you gave from 49.8292 % :)

I will go with the february figures and from my calculations you will have at the end of the year 8779002.22 .
Your lifetime will be 9164205.43

You will achieve the SE on July with 1102681.554 at the end of the month .
I can tell you even the day if you want : day 23 and if you play 8 hours a day , after 1 hour 20 minutes 32.22 seconds on day 23 you will have the 1000000 :)
I hope that's enough .

Thank you .:)

I hope you didn't hit your head also when having the accident _confused:

Jokes aside, hope you get well soon so you can fully enjoy your trip and give us lurkers many reports _grin:

Feel free to flood the thread with thread savers, if you guys think that those are missing :f_biggrin:. I'm too busy to do that :f_cool:

edit: just put them into spoilers, so the thread stays readable.

1. ~12.30%

2. Hit SNE on October 1310835.63

Finish the year with 2942698.693

Something is probably wrong, but i'm not understanding. I think you have to calc the % (which is the month gain) and then add it to the previous month. This way you know all the VPP's you have.

I would appretiate if someone could explain where my thinking is wrong.

thanks

Almost hit my target of max 7 days before posting the answers... :f_mad:

First,

My lifetime vpps on stars at the beginning of this month were 419 650,83 vpps (yes, i'm not much of a grinder sad ). This month I've made 51 612,62 vpps. By how much (in terms of percentages) did I increase my total vpp count during February?

Seems like everyone got the first one correct. The answer was ~12,3%. Not going to post how to calc it, since everyone knew =)

Second,

So far I've gathered 86060,24 vpps during this year. I have increased my monthly vpp earnings by ~49,83% every month of this year (!). If I'm capable of continuing this rate of increasing volume throughout the year, how many vpps will I have 31.12.2014? During which month would I achieve Supernova Elite (1 000 000 vpps)?

The post from hakan23, pretty much sums it up perfectly.

2. First off all i must say that if you had a increase with 49.83 % you should have on february 51612,86 not 51 612,62 smile . The difference si from the fact that you round the percentage that you gave from 49.8292 % smile

Thank you .smile

The mistake that some of you made was that you didn't sum the monthly vpp amounts. Seems that everyone knew how to calculate the coefficient that is necessary to get the monthly vpp amounts. All you needed to do in that point was to add them all together.

If you ended up answering October - you almost certainly didn't remember to sum up the months.

Overall i'm proud of the readers of this blog. Seems like my blog might have the smartest reader base on this forum :f_biggrin: :f_cool:

Winner is hakan23, who gets a small reward of 3 hands evaluated by me, if he posts them in this thread. Obviously you don't have to do it, unless you want to. Loser of this challenge, gets a "mad shark -smiley": _mad: Honorable mention goes to Zitaa, for having the balls to post without being 100% sure that the answers are correct! Here, take a diamond :diamond: !

Sorry if you guys expected some sick rewards... Was considering giving some free coaching for the winner but i've spent a lot of hours coaching during the last week, so won't stretch myself for that this time.

@Macau atm. Only played 50/100 HKD so far (5/10€), will be looking to take some shots into the 1/200 before flying back to Thailand on Monday. Pretty sure I won more yday than Johnny Chan, who was sitting at the table next to me playing 2,5k/5k HKD (250/500€). Fwiw, he doest't appear to be aging at all. If you compare the Chan, who is playing in high stakes poker season 1 and the Chan i saw yday, those two look exactly the same.

Now off to watch some house of dancing water -show. Prly going to play a few hands in city of dreams (stars) before the show starts. Fwiw, if ppl are interested in macau games: only three casinos offer poker and wynn has by far the most action. Starworld & city of dreams are pretty dead in terms of the plr pool. g2g now.

Wow that's interesting, I thought there are plenty of casino's with nice poker action, kind of dissapointing :(. Also, really nice experience :)

Enjoy!

Currently traveling in SE-asia. So for people contacting me for coaching: not going to happen during next couple of weeks _frown: Moving to Budapest Hungary during early may, which is pretty much the earliest I can restart giving private coaching. Also my Skype response pace is terrible currently because of the shitty wifis in random hostels I've been staying in.

All I can say right now: life's gooood! I'm starting to understand why so many ppl have told me that traveling alone is the best way to travel. Couple more nights in phuket and then off to Ko Tao. My ingenuous plan is to leave all the party people behind so that I can focus on sports :) most likely my plan won't work...

And for the people wondering if this is a balling holiday travel thing - nope. I'm going for the true backpacker style with only one small bag with me and budgeting stuff like I'm making 10k$/year _biggrin:

Already met some truly awesome people who have modified the way I see life and other people. These crazy but brilliant people might have solved the gfame we call life! Or maybe it's just my brain making tricks at me because this post was written drunk at 5am local time :f_cool: _evil:

I thought that getting into team budapest requires having a 6-figs day per week :f_eek: :f_love:

But in all seriousness: thanks guys for the warm welcome!

Currently in an island called "Koh Tao". Tomorrow is the last day of my open water diving license -course. Had my first couple dives today. Strange how natural it feels to be breathing underwater with over 10m of water over my head. I just felt dumb doing it in shallow waters ?( Time to cut my foot with some coral tomorrow and get eaten by sharks :f_eek: :f_p:

It's good fun though, definitely worth the $$ i have to pay for it. Admittedly, it's pretty cheap to do in here, since the license (including 4 dives, theory and pool session) costs only 9k baht aka 300usd.

WiFi sucks on every island I've been on so far. It has been around three weeks since I played my last hand of poker and closing in on a month without online poker. Definitely excited to get back into grinding mode once I sort out a flat in BP. But for now I'll keep enjoying the stresslessness of no commitments. That said, I need to wake up 6am tomorrow to catch my morning boat for the next dive. It'll be awesome :f_love: _love:

River: ($199.50) 5 :heart: (2 players - 1 is all in)

V is a 20/13 player over 299 hands , 3bet 3.4.

I just called preflop because of his tight 3bet range, but it is not very accurate over just 300 hands sample and he also have position, so he will 3bet wider from the BTN.

As played it is ok postflop ?

V seems to be a reg, 21/18 over 61 hands.

Should we call the river ?

Probably it make no sense to call that overbet on the turn and fold on that blank river, am i right ?

If so, should we fold on the turn or it is ok the calldown ?

V is a reg 24/20 over 14k sample, 3bet from SB 10, 3bet vs BTN 15, cbet in 3b pot 71, WTSD 28.

On that dry flop i think he would bet smaller if he had an Ax type hand.
So because that bet size i assume that he have more likely air.

It is true that the board hit more our range that his range ?

We do not represent anything with a raise so i thought that a call will look stronger .

Thank you .

P.S. The hands are from ZOOM NL 100 .
