Is it better to bet flop, or delayed cbet on such a board? Should I bet river to fold Ax?

don't really like betting turn on that particular card because of Ax as you said. i'd probably skip turn and just take a stab on the river

Hey GingerKid,

Preflop iso-raise is good.

Flop check back is fine here.

I think hand is not quite strong enough to just fire turn and check back river, so I'd either fire 2 here or check back turn and fire river. With an ok A-high we could bet turn and check river.

Hello,
would be an one and done cbet flop ok in this spot? I think CO might fold his equity share, Qx, Kx type of hands. Why is checking back fine here? Seems like a give up as we cannot bluffcatch turns imo. Thanks

Exactly, it is give up :)
I dont expect fish to fold on low boards except his fold vs cbet stat is > 40%, so in order to fold his Ax, Kx hands and low PP I would need to bet turn which I dont want
with so little equity.

So I would bet overcards having bdfd as weakest bluffs, would check back AJ+ to bluff catch.

Yeah, GingerKid explained it.

We are checking back because we want to give up. Hand is clearly too weak to bluffcatch - also doesn't have good backdoors so we don't want to fire multiple barrels with it.
