For each VPP you earn at pokerstars you get x FPPS depending on your VIP status.
You need to get X monthly *VPPs* to maintain your status except for supernova and supernova VIP wich is yearly counted.

Actually, vpp is what you collected by rake, and they give you fpp for you to spend on some goodies.

Vpp would determine your vip level, the higher, the more benefits. Using fpp, you could buy things in their shop.

ty guys..but what if I have say played x number of hands and have moved from bronze to silver status by the end of this month..Do I then have to earn a specified number of points the following month to maintain my silverstatus?
When reading the provided link in the post above it actually seemss so..can anyone confirm this plz..

confirmed. all vip levels are on monthhly basis, except supernova and supernova elite

Hey jassurin,

For instance, if you earned 500VPPs by say the 18th May, you would be upgraded to Silver instantly and would be guaranteed that status for June.

To maintain that status, you would need to earn 500 points in June to keep it for July etc
