I live in Tampere and u beat us, so I guess we should be enemies. _evil: Just kidding.

------------

Anyway, I've been playing pretty tiltlessly lately, and the results have been good.

However, the volume has been crappy. I should play at least 100k hands a month, no questions asked. I get about 800 hands / hour, so playing 25 days a month I need to get 4k hands a day. That means 5 hours of play per day.

I think 5bb/100 is achievable, especially if u play enough at 00-04 am. So that would mean a monthly profit of 2500€ in winnings, about 3000€*0.4=1200€ in RB, and probably about 1k€ in race winnings. So, with variance included, that would mean 3500-5500 € a month.

Well my goal is not that, it's just 100k hands in May. How do I do this?

* No getting drunk. If I go out, it's only once a week, and I drink max 3-4 beverages. If I get really drunk, my hangover lasts 2 days, so that's 3 days absence from grinding - and I also find it hard to get back in the grind mode after a longer than a 1 day break.
* I have to play longer sessions. I bought an egg timer, and for starters I'm gonna set it to 30 minutes, and then add 5 minutes every day up to 1h. After a session I'm gonna take a short break, then play another session, and then take a longer break.

--------------

Well, that's it.

Ssfgdfgxcvg. I've started to herocall rivers more, and folding my button to 3bets more. Since I'm not a big bluffer but more of a bluffcatcher, I should call more hands that flop good bluffcatchers, that is, rather QJo than 78s.

-------------------------

Here's a hand. Pretty unknown opponent, but had reggish stats with a 3bet of 15%, and barrels 94/89/70 (!). I decide not to stack off 150bb deep with JJ and just call preflop vs. his 3bet. Flop I obviously call. On the turn I decide that he has so many Ah and Kh hands that he's barreling every time here that I'm gonna call turn & every river that's not a heart. K and A rivers are nasty, but I'll decide based on betsizing. When he overbets the river he polarizes his range to 6x and better, and with the info I have I call it off. Had he bet like half pot I might have folded.

IPoker, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

BB: $66.55 (133.1 bb)
UTG: $44.95 (89.9 bb)
MP: $50.07 (100.1 bb)
Hero (CO): $67.62 (135.2 bb)
BTN: $74.52 (149 bb)
SB: $29.50 (59 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J J
2 folds, Hero raises to $1.25, BTN raises to $3.50, 2 folds, Hero calls $2.25

Flop: ($7.75) Q 4 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $5.50, Hero calls $5.50

Turn: ($18.75) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $8, Hero calls $8

River: ($34.75) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $57.52, Hero calls $50.62 and is all-in

Results: $135.99 pot ($3.00 rake)
Final Board: Q 4 6 7 6
Hero mucked J J and won $132.99 ($65.37 net)
BTN showed T K and lost (-$67.62 net)

------------------

Another hand. This was vs. the best reg on iPokers speed NL50 (better than me, since I tilt spazz away a big part of my winnings :f_o: ). I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm a tight TAG, so I actually should have checked back the river, cuz' there really are no hands he beats with Kx when the backdoor flush comes in. However, since I have the best hand here 99% of the time, I feel like I should bet anyway and hope he makes some tilty call with KQ. I think betting half pot would be the worse betsize (It would be OK with bluffs, since I assume villain would never call my halfpot bet with KQ, cuz' he just beats nothing), maybe I should bet 2€ so he can't fold Kx, but I think that's so gay. So I just bet standardish amount.

Anyway, I get shoved on. He can have 44 (1 combo), but that's about it. Maybe KK, but I've never seen him not 3bet KK+. He doesn't necessarily 3bet TT pre, but I'm pretty sure he folds it on the turn, considering I'm not that barrel happy. Maybe he has that once in a blue moon though. He has KQs, KJs, KTs of diamonds, but I don't think he shoves them, since no worse hands are calling a shove* and since I think he's good, I assume he realizes that. So because 1) I block the nutflush, 2) He has maybe 3 value combos, and 3) he's a good player and realizes he doesn't beat anything with Kx, I call pretty confidently.

IPoker, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players

BB: $73.75 (147.5 bb)
Hero (CO): $53.42 (106.8 bb)
BTN: $29.14 (58.3 bb)
SB: $72.90 (145.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A A
Hero raises to $1.25, 2 folds, BB calls $0.75

Flop: ($2.75) 4 K 4 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.75, BB calls $1.75

Turn: ($6.25) 2 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4.25, BB calls $4.25

River: ($14.75) T (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $10.50, BB raises to $66.50 and is all-in, Hero calls $35.67 and is all-in

Results: $107.09 pot ($2 rake)
Final Board: 4 K 4 2 T
BB showed J K and lost (-$53.42 net)
Hero mucked A A and won $105.09 ($51.67 net)

*Well I'd call with AdK and AdA, but he's not there thinking "I shove my Khigh flush cuz' he's gonna call with AA and AK with the Ad blocker".

Ok.

Well, that was the 4th time this month: I just lost it completely and went down 8 bins. Gladly Tilt Breaker stopped me. Now I'm again so angry at myself that I wanna smash something. And actually I did throw my mouse to the wall. I just can't find any help to this. I play well and tiltless for days, then all of a sudden I lose some big pots to regs who play in a way that makes no sense, and just throw 4-5 bins away. I'm so mad at myself I can't take it.

Well 16 minutes of play, and again Tilt Breaker break. Thought might as well play NL100, and obviously lost 3 bins in that 16 minutes, EV +1 bin. Just great.
