Hey GingerKid,

This play is totally villain dependent. It's likely pretty bad vs an unknown, so it really comes down to what type of range opponent is 3bet/calling. When we know the answer to that then we know what our shoving range should be.

Given what he showed up with there is a reasonable chance this shove is +EV but we are going to be coin-flipping a ton. Even if we can show mathematically that this line has a positive expectation, in practice it might be a better idea to shove tighter and save on a ton of variance.

Hi,

He was shoving each hand for one hour, even for 500bb, once with 49o I saw him snap calling huge shove.

Lol nice.

Well theoretically we can jam anything that has larger than 50% equity vs any 2 cards.

However as mentioned that doesn't mean we are forced to shove just because we have 51% equity if we don't want the variance.

A player like this maniac here will usually either 1) run good, win a few stacks, and leave, or more likely 2) lose his money fast. So considering his not staying there long, I think you should take even the marginally +EV spots. Unless you tilt easily, then maybe avoid them.

Agree.
It is not tilting me, at least not too much so that I start playing very bad. I dont care about variance, only about +EV spots.

I think this range should do just fine:
55+, A4s+, K9s+, QTs+, A7o+, KJo+ (17,5%)

What I'm more interested in are spots with multiway danger. I'd probably shove this range then:
88+,ATs+,KQs,AQo+ (6,5%)

And of course even tighter if someone else is eager to get it in else well.
What do you guys think?
