Aloha,
today I decided to see how good are the players at $200nl. The games were soft, but ran very unlucky. Fortunately, at the end stacked a meh reg few times.

I'm joining the party late, but man, you're sick!
Don't you stop now, mate ♠_thumbsup:
Read through it all and still cant believe it.
Things I wonder:
How your gf has not left you if you are putting in so many hours?
Within how many hand you went from zero to hero and back?
What was your strategy back then?
How your game has changed now since nl5 up to nl50-100?
Non poker related:
Are you a writer and you like adventures?
Other than that -truly remarkable story. And within a month! Inspiring.
How are you so seeeek my friend ![]()
If you dont mind me asking you this, how exactly did you improve your game to such a huge extent?
I mean, putting huge volume doesn't necessarily mean you'd learn more so I dont really think volume is where you learnt a lot ♦
Did you work on any specific aspect of your game or got coaching or some articles or just pure genius?
Anyways, really awesome progress ofc. Running out of english words for this blog.
Superawesomelyinspiringsickoffsasdashaksdhasdlashdakldhaksdhksaldh!!!
Hi guys,
last session went well. Played about 5k hands at 200nl again and made about $600. Hope good run will continue.
How your gf has not left you if you are putting in so many hours?
We are living together and she is fine when she sees $500 a day. Have in mine that $500 is more than average monthly salary in my country.
Within how many hand you went from zero to hero and back?
From zero to hero I'm not sure. I didnt use HUD so dont know how many hands, but I played for little less than 2 months, 1 tabling hour or two a day. From hero to busto took my only 3 or 4 hands
I still remember my last hand- had AQ on flop AQx w/fd, villain had AA ![]()
What was your strategy back then?
I had the sickest strategy ever back then. I wanted to make $100 a day, so sat at 100nl and wanted to double up, if it didnt work sat at 200nl to win back initial 100 and won other 100, sometimes it didnt work in 200 also, so I sat at 400
Easy game ♦
How your game has changed now since nl5 up to nl50-100?
Not much. Believe me or not between 10nl and 50nl is pretty much the same. And the gap between 50 and 200 is not so big, a bit more aggressive, but nothing totally different.
Prob tomorrow if I have time and wish obv, I'll try to write a long guide how I play and how to adjust against players, levels etc. It could be interesting for some of you and prob it will help to me if someone disagree and have other opinions.
Are you a writer and you like adventures?
I used to be something like a writer, but in my native language. About adventures- oh yeah I like them.
If you dont mind me asking you this, how exactly did you improve your game to such a huge extent? I mean, putting huge volume doesn't necessarily mean you'd learn more so I dont really think volume is where you learnt a lot grin
I'll say only that- EVERY HAND MATTERS, NO MATTER LIMITS AND VILLAIN. EVERY HAND MATTERS. Every decision matters, In every hand you have to choose between 30-40 decisions you could take and should think about all of them. Doesnt matter if you have 72 or AA pre, doesnt matter if you hit top set or pure air. Never, never, NEVER auto pilot, dont click buttons.
As I say before, I'll try to write in depth analysis about my experience and how I play and view the game. Not saying is good or bad to follow.
Did you work on any specific aspect of your game or got coaching or some articles or just pure genius?
I read a ton of articles, pretty much all of the uNL articles in another forum, twice
I read also a huge amount of the poker theory topics in that forum, read all the "wells", some of them few times
Not sure if it helps me, but also I dl all the high stakes database hands and tried to understand why they check, why they bet, why they bluff etc. Believe me or not, but I know a good amount of the high stakes hands (5k+, which went to showdown obv) from the last month and a half.
Thanks to all of you guys! Your comments are greatly appreciated!
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee,
I just started playing this week. I wish I end up where you are, I want to get to NL100 asap. Still at NL2 though. I am living with my girlfriend in Hong Kong, but I don't have a work visa and no real future anyway. My alternative is having to go back to Germany to study, but I don't want to at all. I want to have something which allows me to stay in my personal paradise. But I have no monniez. ![]()
Reading your article inspires, but scares me a little. I am not as aggressive, even though I understand your lines. Playing weird lines really brings up many spazzes, like minbetting the river and then overbet 3x his river 2bet.
Would you mind adding me on skype, to talk some pokers sometime.
So imitation is probably the best kind of compliment, so I'm AFK checking highstakes database ![]()
Good luck dude.

Thanks mate, just add me on friend list and we will have a skype conv.
Today I won about $600 and now I have some money to shot 400nl. I'll do that on monday, cuz I decided to take off the weekend. I'll go the the beach with few friends for some jet ski ![]()
I saw a hand at the hand evaluation forum, but cant comment there, because of my status issues
It's very interesting hand and really want to say my opinion.

So, about 15 comments and every one is for call or fold. I disagree, calling is not so bad, but I'll raise river.
Villain range is something like KJ KT and busted draws. Rare KQ (cuz we have blockers and prob villain will raise c/r turn or at least bet bigger) AK 3b pre, sets raising flop or turn. So again KJ KT maybe K9 or busted draws.
If we call river we beat draws, but lose to Kx. If we raise river we still got same money from busted draws, but also Kx will fold at the majority of the time. Sure sometimes we will lose from KQ, but very rare. Very rare we could get called from QJdd also
Not saying you should agree with me, but I'm raising river here almost always. I believe it's the most +EV play. By calling river we have not so bad EV, but by raising we add a ton of EV.So that's for me for now, see you guys soon. Wish me luck on monday

With regard to the hand, what possible hand do we rep by raising river? 2 is the blankest card of them all. We would have raised sets/2p on T so we can jam river right.
I dont really see a thinking villian folding Kx for our river 2bet.
Hi guys,
Time for sume update. As I said in my previous post I started playing 400nl this week. On Monday and Thuesday I had a wining sessions for about ~$350 each.
Today I had my biggest winning session ever, So I bought a botlle of Moet ($120) and some cigars and it's time to celebrate.
Time to feel like balla ![]()
Biggest win ever

Never raising otr sets/2p against assuming reg. We still can jam river.
To think that you were literally broke just two months ago...
This is absolutely amazing. I guess the American Dream does come true sometimes...
Hahaha, not just super well done, but super well done...balla style!
I love it, you cheered me up! ♠_love:
