I think its ok... You are ahead of a straight.
The problem is, that his preflop range is quite AA and KK heavy.
But maybe he would only ch/c KK or AA otf.

If you would give him all of his AA; KK; JT here (which I don't think, should be the case) a call of his minraise would be fine otf and on a turn blank a fold (drawing only to a Flush)

had you not had the NFD here i would not go broke vs anyone, but with the nfd it's an easy stackoff.

Can you please name the advantages of going broke over calling? Do you think, he has mostly JT (probably that's the case...)

The advantage is that we are a favourite vs a made straight in this hand, which is usually the hand that wants to go AI vs us (AA and KK will probably try to call and hit instead of raising AI). So we are getting it in for value; if we do hit we usually don't get any more money in the pot.
