UTG: $56.20 (112.4 bb) VPIP: 24, PFR: 17, 3B: 14, AF: 5,5, Hands: 100

Flop: ($7.75) 5 2 5 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($7.75) J (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $4.75, UTG raises to $12.25, Hero ??

Blinds are regulars. Questions are about postflop.
Would you cbet this board? I thought that delayed double bet might be better?

We are happy when we hit our magic card, but what villain is trying to tell us here? Our play?

As played:

Spoiler

Flop: ($7.75) 5 2 5 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($7.75) J (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $4.75, UTG raises to $12.25, Hero calls $7.50

River: ($32.25) 7 (2 players)
UTG bets $40.45 and is all-in, Hero calls $40.45

Whats villains range for doing such things? Our options?
Thoughts about call?

Hi,

Flop checking or betting is both OK. If we check here can we bluff catch with AJ? With AK and AQ we can but AJ I'm not too sure.

Turn - this check raise is nut heavy, and at the same time bluff heavy, meaning he's either having an overpair or trips or full house kind of hand or nothing, so it's good to call and also probably call river as a bluff catch since we are at the top of our range.

Thanks

Hi gAsheks,

This feels as 55, 22 based on double check raise line and his size PF. There are not a lot of combos, in fact only 4 combos. Since you called can you share the result? Thank you.

(Btw I wouldn't fold it either postflop, If you decide to fold this you are basically folding everything that plays with this line of cbh flop, so better call down and take a note of what we see from villain).
