Hero (SB): 11,745 (29.4 bb)
BB: 36,298 (90.7 bb)
UTG+1: 31,680 (79.2 bb)
UTG+2: 13,952 (34.9 bb)
MP1: 13,132 (32.8 bb)
MP2: 11,122 (27.8 bb)
MP3: 18,780 (47 bb)
CO: 15,914 (39.8 bb)
BTN: 3,161 (7.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q A
6 folds, BTN raises to 3,121 and is all-in, Hero?

Since I am way over my head in terms of buyin, I am unused to juggling my brain cells and do not really know if my decision to iso-shove is correct here. Well, I cannot quite make out any different scenario and I think this is super-standard or do I stand corrected?

Hi,

Doesn´t really matter too much if you would min-raise and call shove or make isolation shove.
Sure BB can woke up AK, QQ+, but you would very likely get stacked if it was folded to you. I would try BB make incorrect fold with AQ, TT and worse pp-s and likely min-raise is scary enough that he may sometimes fold these hands.
Against fishes direct shove has the most fold equity.

Best regards,

I like call/call BB shove. Our hand is strong enough to induce. Shoving is ok, but you make him fold all the hands like AT-AJ, KJs, KQs...

The player behind me had stats like 36/9 over 50-60 hands, so I think I could label him a fish...

i like this line too if u had like 8-9k shove is better with your stack u can make illusion that u r folding if BB shoves and he can shove as said worse hands then AQ

btw i dont think BB would fold AQ(AJs)+ 88(77)+ (its for 1/3 of his stack) when u shove so main concern imo here is how to make him put his stack in with worse

This. Anytime we have <1/4 of our stack with a call we can just call in these spots then decide afterwards. Anything else is best described as a waste of chips.
