I think Germany will win this pretty easily. Alg. has made 5 changes in their start lineup since last match? Versus a solid team like Germany that's pretty brave

Diving really is the #1 thing that's ruining this sport in my opinion, followed by fake theatrics and general wimpiness.

I'm not too mad about the Robben penalty, though. He may have made it look more dramatic than it was, but there was actual physical contact involved and the penalty was fine.

This.

Plus the one time he did really dive, he actually admitted to it in the press conference and apologized for it. Very professional by him imo. Would be ridiculous to ban him and that's not just me being biased. I also think the Suarez ban is ridiculous for example, at least his ban at Liverpool.

Me too

But Germany really seem to be pushing for the win now though, lots of chances for them suddenly.

What? ?(

I'm not saying it's right for him to dive. I'm only saying it's professional by him to at least admit he did something wrong. 99% of all other players will simply deny it, but he's actually honest about it.

He prolly just shot too much rabies, or whatever performance enhancing drug he is on, before the game..

How about we just let every game start in extra time in the quarter finals? That would speed things up a bit.

Just amazing knock out round, every favorite won the game, but in every game it was so close for surprise :) well done football.

Really looking forward to quarters, especially for France - Germany game, and also Belgium - Argentina, hope that Belgians will punish Argentinians for the fck up game against Swiss

What about a Costa Rica - Belgium semi final?

Oh I'm not counting them out! It's going to be very tough for us to beat Costa Rica, that's for sure.

I'm just hoping for a semi between us and our neighbours :f_biggrin:

Guys, game day! Heard lot of Germans catch a flue or smth :/ If it's true, that's sucks, hope that all players will be in their best condition, so that after France victory there wouldn't be any excuses _cool:

Another sick game...

So how about Brazil vs Argentina in the final and Germany vs Netherlands in the third place play-off?
