Weak fold or standard?

flop is misplayed imo, just raise the dbet and bet big all streets, if he 3bets flop get it in, as played folding isn't terrible but a call would be slightly better I think since vilain could be jamming TT+, A9 for value here, as he is clearly a fish. but you never know, fish bet when they shouldn't and take wierd lines, that's why they are fish. he could show up with 99 or 45o or whatever.

I would raise on the flop to 5.50 or something, bet turn and shove the river. As played folding is bad in my opinion, villain could easily shove something worse for value here and he could certainly have some bluffs in his range (missed flushdraws or just something completely random).

in my experience with with this situation when they bet the flop and the turn they usually show up on the river with 2 pair + flop call is ok but if your folding to the river bet you shouldn't be calling the turn, I have folded this on the flop in the past since it can be disguised trips too because a check raise is to obvious.

I still think TT JJ A9 would check call most the time so I wouldn't use this as a standard range for this spot.

I strongly disagree with folding flop and saying that if you are folding river you should just fold turn, I think it's a common 'misquoted' statement, saying that you shouldn't call turn if you are planning to fold river. it would apply to other situations, but def not here as we should be calling any paired river, obv K and 'brickish' rivers, like Q or J except for a
all in all just don't ever think about folding flop, that would be horrible, as I said fish tend to bet when they shouldn't so just raise or if you feel like to trap/pot control or whatever maybe call. but folding is by far the worst of 3 options.

You making a mistake in assuming he's a fish tykki didn't say tht. And if your plan is to fold to any river other then a king then it's a mistake to call the turn in this case the rice was a 3 tht was a brick and he folded, flush draws are most like to play aggressive with a check raise semi bluff top pairs are most likely to check call, medium pairs will bet the flop and check the turn.

Going back to fish, a loos passive fish doesn't bet with the nuts or close to it. And an agro fish would make this play with all sorts of cards in this case I can only see it being a call down.

I think the best line of play Is to raise the flop and fold to a reraise/shove

Readless I would just go and protect my hand by raising otf as many suggested. However, if you have strong reads that villain is very aggressive and 3barreling his complete range here I dont mind taking the passive line here, but in that case I'm snap calling the river, espesh brick river like this one- easy call imo.
