If you don't really have a plan for what to do vs a 3-bet why ck/raise? You rep very little value in that spot and a ton of draws/backdoors.

And yes you are right that you can't really rep much by the river so you are stuck winning your hand (if you call) only if you hit. And then you have some reverse implied odds.

So, back to the flop, what do you think is the best play now that we realize what spot we are in raise/calling?

I'd tipically donk here 2/3 pot both OTF and OTT and c/f river unimproved. If getting raised we can fold a lot (assuming we do not have the correct odds to continue vs a raise ofc) because we represent decent strength and I do not expect an unknown NL50 guy to mess around with no equity hands like QJo or something.

Another consideration is we are going to be donking with our best hands like sets on this flop as well so our donking range will be balanced and difficult to play against.

i like the donk ideea but its a tough spot if we get raised on the flop an then on the turn we miss and he bets again.

there is another option to just call the flop and reevaluate the turn...maybe we can turn our hand into a semi-bluff on the turn by calling flop and X/R turn, or maybe he X the turn and we can take the pot on the river

Adding a donking range is definitely fine but then you have to worry about donking, ck/calling, ck/raising so quite a few ranges to manage.

Given he may be fishy (looking at these stats of bigger vpip/pfr gap and lower 3-bet over the small sample) I'm not a huge fan of raising vs him (unless we know he's a reg with more or less weird stats).

We can definitely call turn and raise some turns too or bluff river if he checks back.
