Spoiler

$13.09 pot ($0.71 rake)
Final Board: 8 5 6 Q
Hero mucked K K and lost (-$6.17 net)
BB mucked and won $12.38 ($6.21 net)

142 hands (not sure how many at the time of the hand)
VPIP/PFR/3B/AF/WTSD
30/24/16.7/2.1/41

Fold to Flop CB: 29(low sample)

PRF: So, what does xe call my 3b with? I assume speculative hands of any kind, suited connectors/gappers, suited broadways, then pretty much every pocket pair (excluded KK/AA, but including QQ?)
Flop: Don't like to be on this board OOP, but what can ya do. Bet for value/protection.
Turn: Ok. Now, given the range I expect from xem, what did xe call me on the flop with? And what do I achieve now with a bet? Well xe could have many draws still so a bet makes sense.

Regardless, I can't remember what I thought at the time of the hand but it was something along the lines of "if I bet here every midPP will not call me, yet check behind, and maybe I can control the pot given how deep we are".
Listening to it now, well I was missing points.

After xyr huge bet I just saw it grim thinking about the river and the million cards I wouldn't have wanted to see. So I gave up.

Oh boy does my brain fart on this boards when I'm deep vs unknown/wannabe LAG.

Hi AtrociousNightmare

Definitely looks quite weak to fold KK on such a board vs such a villain.

Once we check I'd ck/raise there or just call and call river.

However, as you already pointed out, you can definitely bet the turn yourself. Also cbet bigger on that low flop deep.

Thank you very much!

3 more questions.
If we bet turn and xe raises what do we do? (I'd fold)
What if xe raises Flop? (no idea what I'd do, anything but a fold sounds like a nightmare past the action)

Between checking and betting the turn, what do you prefer?
Consider we don't have a strong idea on xyr aggression factor.

There are a ton of hands he can call turn with: 78s,89s,77,99, T9s ATs+KJs+

This is one of these spots were I think we can betfold turn and if river is brick we still bet smallish because even though its hard to get value being OOP its often better to bet these type of hands rather than check and potentially make a call/fold mistake.

What calls that wet flop deep that can raise that turn that you are so afraid off?

The flop raise could be tricky but it's a wet board and weaker overpairs could raise for protection (or draws)

I definitely just bet the turn in this spot. I'm not checking an overpair and definitely not ck/folding it.

Are you saying you expect most of the time sets to raise flop?

yeah, you're deeper and board has tons of action killers.

Pretty much,

Sure he may slowplay a set here and there but I generally expect those to raise the flop.
