Villain playing on smartphone, no hud so no extra info
really don't like how i played this hand btw
would a call against open from mp1 be better here?
on flop, should i have check-called? I'm probably overplayin my hand on this drawy board
Turn I should have bet instead of checking I guess
as played, would check-call river been better?

Hey Vandeuren,

Preflop 3b probably a bet thin here, I recommend flat-calling.

I probably would cbet flop for protection. X/r is an overplay here. If we check we want to check call.

Turn check is fine here since flop was overplayed.

River play is fine.

If we just call PF and we make the line C/c, c/c what to do in the river? donk so we can make more value or check? i'm asking because villain will probably chb with some A and J, so i was wondering..

I have questions for AJs.
In which kind of situation AJs should 3b.
if we flat call ,we are controlling pot ,right?

As played ,pf 3b ,why the 3b size is so small ,just because the Mp1 open 2bb?
And I notice both villian and hero are not MSSer?
Why we should check turn? If AJ hitting A or J ,we may only have 2 streets value.
But villian's range ? Two overcards, middle pair? We check turn by giving villian one free card to see.
I may bet 50-60% turn for value

Yup donk river for value should be fine with top 2 to prevent villain from checking back.

It's not a case of controlling the pot. We can 3b for value if we have over 50% equity vs opponents calling range which might not be the case when we 3b vs an MP open.

The fact that we spike 2pair doesn't change the fact that we are over-repping hand on the flop. It makes extracting value on the turn a little tougher even if we expect to have the best hand frequently so sometimes checking can have a higher expectation.
