2 days time to get 2nd Triple Crown. It would be enough if all 3 wins would be in different sites, but because not I have to get one more.

Sadly no.
It's been long time since I did a blog post. I've really felt like not blogging lately, because the results during the year haven't been as good as I hoped.
Now I feel like I'm going into right direction so maybe once in while I might update this... I'm approximately +30k€ up this year, I guess it could be worse but I've put in lot of hours during this year so I can't really be happy about that. I started stake/coach deal with Finnish HS reg in September and after this I've started to do lot better in 50€+ tournaments. I've been back playing more small fields now and I was thinking I probably will cut almost all fields with more 300 players for now and try to focus finding some good value games with small fields. I've found sites where I can play lot of tournaments with good value and Average field size close to 100 players.

Here's some results from last 3 months. I was hoping to get more "steady results" if I play more small fields and maybe bit less turbo.

Here's another conclusion I've made turbos can be good, but mostly turbo freezeouts have been "breakeven game" for me. I've played a ton of these games during 2014.
Now I've tried to add some turbo rebuy satellites instead, because those I've made pretty good profit. I often latereg by last minute possible and just try to take as less rebuys possible and take add-on.
Many sites I play, I can just register at Add-on period and get in without buying any rebuys.
This year overall has been best year of my life (so far) I would say. I've been living pretty much the lifestyle I've always wanted to live. I've been travelling a lot... I've been abroad 6 times this year for holiday and had a lot of awesome time. I hope next year I can do ever better. Since I've many times promised to add some pics I'm going to add now...

Hey Guys!
I haven't made any updates for almost 12 months (mainly because I've been doing finnish pokerblog in another poker community) so I decided just to make small post to tell what's up assuming someone still remembers me. ![]()
No I'm not broke... Still playing professionally, still travelling and doing things I like (at least mostly), but as well still not crushing the games...

As we can see from my results... My biggest success barrier at the moment is really 50€+ tournaments, specially small fields... I've decided to make change for this so...
My Action Plan:
1) Dedicate more time for studying so I will make sure I will beat higher buy-in tournaments.
--> My plan is to make session review at least 1x week + Discussing difficult hand with friends. Hoping to find someone to do this with me scheduled every week.
2) Reduce multitabling when playing these higher stake games.
--> I've noticed 6 - 8 tables is quite good for me when playing higher.
3) Put in as much volume in as I possibly can without destroying my health or winrates.
--> Putting in volume is crucial... Not to be lazy, but as well not try too hard.
4) Take more coaching if necessary.
--> Always possible to ask help.
My Goals for next 12 months:
1) Profits 80k - 100k€
--> Not sure if this is possible or realistic for me, but I try to find someway without luckboxing.
2) Building my bankroll by 100% to move up stakes.
--> Hoping to move up to ABI 100€ in Long Term.
3) Update Journal/Blog about my progress at least once a month. (doesn't matter if this one or another one)
I kind of started this project while back and I will be following all statistics as soon as I have at least decent samples from them.
Last 1,5 months:

I will start tracking results from Friday 6th November... It's kind of a zero point since I took cashout recently. Will keep scores in euros without rakeback or any bonuses.
First 7 days of the project:

Played everyday expect Saturday. Now when there's been tournament series going I've felt good to play short sessions everyday possible. Monday was really good day for me. I was 3rd in MNOS 10e 1r1a (monday night on stars) at stars.fr for 2,7ke and as well took down 11$+R turbo for 1,8k$ at partypoker + 681€ 1st place from site I rather not tell. But other days I wasn't so successful, took only some cashes and wins less than 500€.
I as well had like 20bbs for 2nd day of 100€ FCOOP superKO 150k gtd when there was around 70 players left... I was thinking they will start at 10pm (EET), but they started at 9pm and when I open software I have 1bb left. ![]()
But anyway all tournament series will be over this sunday... So maybe next tuesday I will take a day off.
2nd week went quite good. Have not win anything huge, but pretty much everyday some 4-figs somewhere. I decided to cut most 6max tournaments out of my tournament selection. I've notice I don't make good avg profit from these compared to full ring (I guess maybe because of multitabling).

It has keep going really well... I have been confident enough to add some higher buy-in MTTs to see if I have enough skill / luck to beat those games.
My ABI has been 48$ for the month and highest at 65$ I think for 1 set. I have as well put in less volume hoping to get better ROI in these higher stake tournaments. I feel this has helped a lot, I have had more time to make notes + think all factors in each spot.
I have felt that studying GTO and applying it against better regs has been really helpful. What I mean by this is basically when you are not sure how to play against tough opponent (without reads maybe) instead of playing the game of averages (making decision based on playerpool) or making decision based on how you feel; You make decision based on GTO. This could be for example, your opponent bets 1,5x pot in the river and you know he's a strong opponent most likely capable to bluff with this sizing your just not sure how often he will bluff. Easiest way to go solution to this problem is to think how your opponent exploits you by betting this big. If you fold more than 60% of the time he exploit you by bluffing, If you call more than 40% of the time he will exploit you by not bluffing. So when you think it this way it's much easier to decide which button to press. As well if you look very strong opponents in MTTs and try to see how they are unbalanced in terms of GTO you can find exploits much easier. I see lot of regulars in MTTs for example calling 3bets very light (specially IP), HS reg might call with K6s or A5s or Q9o IP, this might be even profitable against you if you 3bet too much and too polarised range. By this I mean 3betting for example 15% from the blinds with range where you have maybe TT+ AQ+ for value and rest is random bluffs. On the other hand if you make your 3bet range more linear and you will have there hands like KQ, AJ, KJs etc. Most likely you will start to exploit your opponent if he calls you too wide... Just something to think about I hope... Untill next time.

I guess sometimes you have to loose. I see as well winrates still looking, ok so no reason to be worried I guess... For last month now, I've played everyday some tournaments over the level I'm confident to be steady winner. I've felt that playing highroller tournaments has definitely helped my game and made me as well more focused to play during my sessions... So my advice is really that if you have higher buy-in tournament you feel to play, just do it really. I mean for ABI 10€ guy we talk maybe about 50e or 100e buy-in and of course you need to make risk based on your bankroll... Lately I've had some money to "loose" because I've been in upswing so I felt definitely ok to some shots. Worst thing to happen normally is that you end up loosing little bit and improve your game (if you're smart at least).
I see myself having EV of 4,15bb/100 for higher than 50€ after 33k hands... So I guess it can be my wr is good in long term or maybe I still have some studying to do... I see at least my redline is not loosing in 50€+ games which is good.
I've as well started studying for PLO tournaments lately. If you know some good videos/strategy or some good coach to hire, please contact me by PM or comment my blog. I will really appreciate it.
December will be most likely little bit less volume. Will go Prague next monday, after that Christmas, New Year and everything... I would be happy to get 1k tournaments in total for December - January, but we'll see...
Count: 118
Profit: -6034,20€
My trip to Prague briefly:
- Busted 550€ Hyper tournament (field was extremely soft)
- Busted 2,2k€ Eureka Highroller (based on my table field seemed softer than HR tournaments online)
- My 6000 CZK river overbet bluff failed against man with K5o in 25/50 Cash Game. ![]()
Online as well I've loose lately, so I feel maybe it good to drop down my ABI little while I still have some money left. ![]()

Winrates for last few months:

Most likely my last update for the year, because I will pretty much start my vacation now... Will be playing sundays + maybe few sessions during weeks but not a lot. I decided to quit shots for now, I will be playing some 100e which I see value to play and maybe some higher threw satellites, but will skip most games over 50€ because I just see it so high variance to play compared to all else...
My year looks pretty good, I loose some money to higher stakes but as well I sold shares from most majors (or go threw satellites) etc. So it's not so bad. It's as well missing some money which I won from sites sharkscope doesn't track + my Livepoker winnings (yes, still up even after Prague
).
I hope I can put more volume in next year. I think I will be playing more turbo so I see realistic I can put in at least something between 800 - 900 tournaments / month on average. I as well hope to run better in shots I take next year, this year my biggest win was 6413€ so it's been quite solid grinding and not huge scores.

It's maybe 200 ABIs. Which is quite normal DS for 2015, specially in higher stakes... That's why I'm building bankroll so I can afford to loose maybe 20 - 30k€ at least without dropping stakes... You can make nowadays quite solid money and good hourlyrate by playing small stakes and mixing some mid + majors, soft high bin tournaments with overlay, because you have much more edge and mostly tournaments are more turbo and in higher more deepstack + more regs... That's why I started this project, because I feel unless I play HS (like ABI 100€) I'm not going to make more money. I see even play even people play ABI 50 - 70$ or something they often don't make more than 20% total ROI and they as well cannot put as much volume in...

I'm so frustrated about not making money I decided to drop stakes for sometime. Basically I decided to cut all buy-ins over 50€ which drops my ABI from 30 - 35€ --> 20 - 25€.
I will be doing this until I feel I have my confidence back and I feel like loosing some more money. Untill then I expect to get results like this...

Instead of this...

Thanks. Fast update. Winrates from December to today seem ok, I just see redline dropping quite hard... Which I think maybe is a leak, even I been playing quite low ABI now...
I feel like I've become little bit lazy and maybe started little bit more and more procrastinate certain tasks. When I have routines it's very easy for me, like grinding a session is not very complicated to do, because I do it pretty much every day. But I feel some tasks I will definitely skip until it's deadline or until it's pretty much too late.
So I decided to start reading again... I have no idea why I stop doing this, but I hope I can find some useful stuff which I maybe forgot or haven't applied in my life before. I was smart enough to order 5 books, now I need to be smart enough to read them. ![]()

20th yesterday at W series Million. 8k players 150€ bin and 186ke for the win. Was at CL when it was 27 players left... Feel really disappointed that couldn't get this in the FT. Any FT payout would been biggest cash of my career so far (13,5k$ from 44$ Hotter few years ago still remains as the biggest)... Always same shit, what can you do expect cry and move on... ♠_cry:

Fast update. It's been BE for sometime. Hopefully turns around soon. I started to feel good about my tournament
program. I've kept some occasional 50€ freezeouts, 20e rebuys in my set (often with less than 100 players), and my ABI has been around 20 - 25€ about 50% turbo.
I feel with this program I can put in lot of volume, but still keep my interest about improving my game. My volume goal for the month is 1500 games. So far I've put about 750 games. I plan to grind lot now until summer... Summer months I will grind as well, but little bit less.
