Poker Stars, $13.89 Buy-in (10/20 blinds) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 9 Players

SB: 1,500 (75 bb)
Hero (BB): 1,500 (75 bb)
UTG+1: 1,500 (75 bb)
UTG+2: 1,500 (75 bb)
MP1: 1,500 (75 bb)
MP2: 1,500 (75 bb) 28/22/6.0 over 49 hands
MP3: 1,500 (75 bb)
CO: 1,500 (75 bb)
BTN: 1,500 (75 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A A
3 folds, MP2 raises to 40, 4 folds, Hero raises to 132, MP2 calls 92

Standard.

Flop: (274) K 6 K (2 players)
Hero bets 90, MP2 calls 90

Keep building the pot.

Turn: (454) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets 149, MP2 raises to 298, Hero calls 149

Now this becomes interesting. He is representing either AK, 66 (giving his preflop line). Maybe hit the flush here. But with nut FD is still can go see the river, so call.

River: (1,050) 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets 980 and is all-in, Hero folds

Very strong line from him, most likely AK, my guess I am not good.

Results:

Spoiler

1,050 pot
Final Board: K 6 K 9 2
Hero mucked A A and lost (-520 net)
MP2 mucked and won 1,050 (530 net)

Seems fine, although I think you can raise slighly larger pre (to 140). I'm not sure if your turn bet really achieves anything, of course now it went fine since he just minraised you but if he raised any larger it would be really awkward. Also getting 3 streets of value from pockets is probably slightly too optimistic so I'd probably try to c-bet flop slightly larger, check turn and bet river.

Hi there. PRe is nice, flop is nice. Turn is interesting. I also don't think we can go 3 streets of value here, unless he has TT/JJ. Rest is folding either flop or turn. So I am also thinking of betting flop/checking turn and either value betting checked river and evaluate riv if he bets.
