Doubt he is slowplaying here - board is drawy, you have played your hand quite passively and unless he has some read that you like to bluff turn in position, he has no reason to think you would try bluffing here. With K his aim would be to get his medium stack in the middle by river. That is hard to achieve if he only checks + he would give free card and risk getting outdrawn.

With Q and any other made hand 2nd barrel in this spot seems better than checking tbh.

As played on river - call. Dont think you can avoid calling this river with the way you played rest of hand. FH is likely, yes, but you will often enough see hand weaker than your imo.

Yea, mostly you will win in this situation against a mid-stack IMO

raise preflop or fold it . limping / calling is not an option here .
on the flop you can check raise and get it in . you have lots of fold equity because your line (limp/calling check/raising ) indicates a strong hand + you have very good equity against his range .
as played you have to call river and you will be ahead most of the times
